Re: v6.49.11 [stable] is released!

Thanks for confirmation. In v6 line there's only one active version: 6.49.11 . It's both stable and long term. Yes, that is what I see now, but I have not seen any announcement that long-term has been actually dismissed or merged with stable or anything similar. Up until now, long-term was always se...

Re: v6.49.11 [stable] is released!

Sorry but I am a little confused - is this the new "long-term" version? Was there some change in channel naming? Or why else was the 6.49.10 long-term thread locked/dismissed?

Re: Fasttrack vs. RAW Firewall rules

You need to read again..............RAW occurs before any conntrack is done........... therefore fastrack which comes after never sees the packets that match to the raw filter rules. Look at the fifth diagram labelled: Packet Flow Chains https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Packet_Flow Yes, I unde...

Re: Fasttrack vs. RAW Firewall rules

Thanks for the reply. That is my understanding as well, yet the "prerouting" rules I create in RAW firewall are completely ignored with Fasttrack enabled. So I was wondering if it in fact is supposed to work together or not, given the help section document having both in there... the answe...

Fasttrack vs. RAW Firewall rules

Hello All The general information I found states everywhere that you cannot Fasttrack if you want to use Mangle/RAW Firewall rules. I was trying to block sites using RAW Firewall based on this tutorial https://youtu.be/T2CQyN-D4u4 , which works very well, but only after I disabled Fasttrack. However...

Re: v6.46.8 [long-term] is released!

I have just had a strange issue on my RB4011iGS-2HacQ2HnD, after about 80 days uptime on v6.48.8. I noticed I cannot logon locally nor via VPN from the outside. It was returning the message that the router does not support secure connection, described here: https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t...

Re: v6.46.8 [long-term] is released!

random reboots on RB4011
I had 1 reboot in the first week or so after I installed it, but I wasn't sure if it wasn't due to power outage.
Since that 64 days uptime with no other issues.

Re: Winbox v3.24 released!

Problem still hare on 2k displays with interface resizing to 125-170%.
Winbox itself and its inner windows has this problem too.
I have 2K resolution with 100% scaling and its ok. So it must be scaling.

I also confirm that saved opened windows inside Winbox are always reverted to some default sizes after each login. I have scaling set at 100%, 2K display.

Re: Winbox v3.21 released!

Come on guys, this is ridiculous. MikroTik changes line height. The next days you have to add one more firewall rule and MikroTik has to change line height again? Or how it is meant to go? Copy terminal output of "/ip firewall export" to your favorite text editor and set font size to 1. N...

Re: Winbox v3.21 released!

I'll go slightly against the flow. Everyone seems to want things bigger, but I'd rather have them smaller. Or maybe better term would be more condensed. It's about one specific thing, line height. I 100% agree. Why the hell I have to scroll now, where up till 3.20 I had everything fit nicely in one...

Re: v6.44.3 [stable] is released!

is ipv6 present on RB4011?
Nope. Also, I did not know about the duplicated MAC with SFP mentioned in the other thread, so it is running ok with the same MAC, but SFP is disabled.

Re: v6.44.3 [stable] is released!

I have been running RB4011 for more than a month and never had this reported issue on wlan. Not even when there was no client connected to it for a few days. So it seems it is not happening on all units. Can you export your config (between code tags) for this thread to see what you might be doing d...

Re: /interface list usage question

Thank you for the answer. So it is as I assumed. This means that interface lists can only be used with interfaces which are not part of any bridge configuration. However, I have not found this info anywhere, so I though that it might work.

/interface list usage question

Hello I would like to ask for an advice about usage of /interface list feature. I have ether ports 1-8 in a bridge-LAN. I want to add some of these ports into /interface list, so I could use this list in FW rules to have more granular control (not having to use the whole bridge-LAN interface). If I ...

Re: RB4011 Fail to netinstall

A bit late but still... I had the same issue with RB4011. Attempted netinstall from a ThinkPad T430 and it always ended like you describe it. Then I tried another laptop, Dell Studio 1537, and it worked like a charm. So I guess it is true that the netinstall is picky when it comes to different netwo...
