Re: HAP AC2 best option for home use

RB4011 for 80/20 VDSL connection? Maybe only if in the coming months it switches to fiber optics and 500-1000 Mbps connection. But I don't think it will happen in the next few years in the UK. I advised RB4011 because it have more powerful Wi-Fi transmitter and more sensitive antennas, so you could...

Re: HAP AC2 best option for home use

Standalone hAP AC2 is not the best solution. Take a look at RB4011. Or use CRS or hEX PoE + some cAP AC spaced buildings.

Re: hEX PoE or Netmetal ac2 powering bug

This means hEX PoE normally works only with the 24V adapter? So this is hardware bug?

Re: hEX PoE or Netmetal ac2 powering bug

Try to power up using 24v original power supply.

Regards.
Bad idea. I need standart 48V 802.3 PoE for cameras.

Is it software or hardware bug?

hEX PoE or Netmetal ac2 powering bug

Hi,all!
I have a problem connecting Netmetal ac2 via hEX PoE powering by PoE. hEX PoE powered by 48V adapter. Only "forced on" PoE out on the hEX PoE turns on Netmetal ac2 router.
RoS 6.47 or 6.46.6.
There is no problem connecting Netmetal ac2 via CRS328-24P.

Is this a bug or feature?

Re: Just going to leave this here...

ftp, dude, etc. Using internal 128 mbytes will kill it flash in a little time and divice goes into thrash. I understand Mikrotik routers uses not from a good life, for the same reason I want several uses for one device. Of course it will kill the NAND flash after a while, it's only designed to run ...

Re: Just going to leave this here...

Why the need for SSD storage in a router? https://mt.lv/CCR2004_1G_12S_2XS The texts and descriptions feels a bit unpolished. Impressive power consumption and very nice with ECC memory. Looking forward to a block diagram as well. ftp, dude, etc. Using internal 128 mbytes will kill it flash in a lit...

Re: Just going to leave this here...

Mikrotik cannot make the ideal device! Why it wasn’t easy to make support for USB, memory cards and several miniPCI-E slots and of course the ability to connect or immediately complete an SSD. In my opinion better to make one universal device that will be easier to maintain. Marketing, damn it ... ...

Re: RB4011 and RB1100 AHx4 "bricks" randomly

Have same problem on RB4011 without WiFi. System stops forward client packets but I can connect via winbox to WAN-port. System runs script make supout.rif every 2-3 minutes but can not finish it. Device did not execute any commands via console but respond on command via winbox. Tools-Profile shows 1...
