Re: CRS328 and poe-out status: overload

Are you sure that this is the final solution? Port Flapping are gone? If you look under Log, have the DOWN/UP messages disappeared? Frankly, I don't know if this is final solution by Mikrotik, all messages related to power disappeared from log due to no power tuned on at port. Its obvious, because ...

Re: CRS328 and poe-out status: overload

I would be happy if you report if there is a solution.
Mikrotik playing silent bob game ;) So I buy power supply and manually injecting power into specific cables.

Re: SFTP Upload

As posted in third post in this thread... RouterOS is picky about authentication methods. Can you configure SSH server to disable all but password authentication? Follow the link above for details. maybe is picky, but same ROS on arm platform (RB1100) working flawlessly, CRS328 failed with log belo...

Re: SFTP Upload

Speaking about SFTP, I have such strange issue, situation: Synology FTP, SFTP server everything works ok when connecting from PC on RB1100AH, SFTP upload works flawlessly, no high CPU load latest 6.45.3 Issue: on RB960PGS, CRS328, SFTP upload ends with "failure: connection timeout", CPU lo...

Re: CRS328 and poe-out status: overload

Yes, I agree is weird. Wikipedia giver a upper limit of 25,5W to 802.3at (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_over_Ethernet). Curiously, it states that the maximum current would be 600mA. Now I don't know what to think. I believe it is worth noting that 57V x 450mA = 25,65W. Maybe all the problems ...

Re: CRS328 and poe-out status: overload

Well, Mikrotik never said CRS328 would power 30W/port. In fact, it specifically tells that it goes as far as 450mA/port. I don't know this Zyxel, but looks like it can deliver more power/port than the CRS328. Ok, so I stick with 802.3at, Type2 PoE+ (https://mikrotik.com/product/crs328_24p_4s_rm tex...

Re: CRS328 and poe-out status: overload

You said: "maximum current delivered to powerbox pro (any device) is approx 350mA ~ 19W. If more that 2 poe device connected to PBoxPro (RB960PGS-PB), CRS port is overloaded ("poe-status: overload" in CRS log) and port/device is restared, If I switch back to zyxel everything went ok....

Re: CRS328 and poe-out status: overload

https://mikrotik.com/product/crs328_24p_4s_rm Max out per port output (input > 30 V) 450 mA Max out per port output (input < 30 V) 1000 mA I think You really are overloading the port. Yes, I checked it, and also I check same page with text: "CRS328-24P-4S+RM is a 28 independent port switch, it...

CRS328 and poe-out status: overload

Hello, after replacing Zyxel GS1900-24HP with CRS328 (nothing changed except poe switch, same cabling etc) I experienced these problems with poe: maximum current delivered to powerbox pro (any device) is approx 350mA ~ 19W. If more that 2 poe device connected to PBoxPro (RB960PGS-PB), CRS port is ov...
