No one in South Africa has got stock we've got four major distributors and a few smaller ones, but neither of them has got stock that's why I thought there might be a problem with stock

What I did was to add a new tool under the tools menu of my dude server. let's say "Winbox alt port". with the following Command:
%HOMEPATH%\Desktop\winbox.exe [Device.FirstAddress]:8891 [Device.UserName] [Device.Password]

this is for port 8891

I'm having the same problem and it occurs at random times only once or twice and then nothing for hours. I downgraded to ros5.25 and it stopped. I would suspect a clash between the way ubiquity handles bridged connections and Mikrotik's way

This DFS and radar detect is killing me. It takes forever to detect radar before an access point starts running. since 6.37 It would appear there's no way to disable it so I had to downgrade everything back to 6.36. Please mikrotik help!!

On my Basebox5 The DFS on the WLAN does'nt show so I can't disable DFS And everytime I reboot it would detect radar for an eternity before it starts running in AP mode If I downgrade to 6.36.3 its allright

Hi guys
When I rightclick on any mikrotik device in dude and go to tools / winbox it would'n go fulscreen. If I maximize the window the work area stays the same and the windows goes fulscreen.
does anyone else experience this

or you could try running a script
/tool user-manager session

Ok the powersuply is a 24v battery charger with two deepcycle batteries. I have got a toggleswitch to switch supply to the router on and of so the power supply stays on and as soon as the router goes of the noise stops

I'm having troubles with other wireless operators trying to Jam signals on my point 2 point link. I'm changing frequencies about twice a day. Is there a way to let a script do the job of changing the frequency as soon as signal strength drops below say -85db.

I got a RB600 in a mesh network. I changed the address of our Linux server that's acting as the DNS, Radius and Gateway and I made the adjustments on all our highsites including the RB600 and every time the rb600 reboots it restores the old settings. Is there something I'm doing wrong

As far as I know a wireless interface cannot be bridged so you'll have to enable WDS on both sides so that the wds can be bridged to the lans

Like I said all Mikrotik, The clients' mikrotik connect to the AP they are all in station mode. If I for some reason have to change the frequency on the AP they don't automaticly retune to the new frequency. I have to manually set their frequencies.

I'm using Routeros 3.6 and the resolution is 1024x768 if i adjust it to 1280x1024 I can see everything but then I have to use the magnifying glass .

I'm having problems with the winbox utility in that if I run routeros on an intel or amd pc and you click on system and the submenu appear you can't see the bottom menu items like I can only see to ntp client. If I try tools the same thing happens. Have you guys perhaps have a solution
