Re: BGP full table Large CPU usage on rb1000 3.22

Hi, have same problem with RB1000. Even still 300MB ram free. When changing filter ith hangs for more than one minute. Sometimes winbox/ssh hangs too. BGP 1 session external, one internal, OSPF VRRP. Funny that using same config on another router, but x86 P4 1.8 works better. 100% is onlu for severa...

How to remote arping from MT to masqueraded LAN host?

I'm surprised that nobody asks for it. We need often to monitor customer comp creating graph of availability. But in most cases customers have Windows firewall turned on. In that case we have to add arp-interface parameter to ping to get response. But I wasted a lot of time to biuld a function (usin...

Re: Checking route via terminal on BGP MT having 300k routes

Thanks it was helped me. A space after. But does anybody knows why it takes so much time to get an answer. Administering BGP router I'd often would know about routes and waiting 5 min for the answer (or even 2 on faster machine) is really frustrating. See the proof: [admin@SasRouter] > /system clock...

Re: Checking route via terminal on BGP MT having 300k routes

Hmm... I'm using v3.3 on x86 I've tried that, but: [admin@SasRouter] > /ip route print where dst-address="3.0.0.0/8" Flags: X - disabled, A - active, D - dynamic, C - connect, S - static, r - rip, b - bgp, o - ospf, m - mme, B - blackhole, U - unreachable, P - prohibit # DST-ADDRESS PREF-S...

Re: Checking route via terminal on BGP MT having 300k routes

Thanks for the ultraquick answer. :) I've tried i.e. / ip route print from=[ /ip route find dst-address 3.0.0.0/8 ] but it ran my processor at 100% and I still waiting for the results ... :( Aaaand it finished after more-less 5 minutes with no answer! While I'm sure I have this route... Maybe guys f...

Checking route via terminal on BGP MT having 300k routes

What is frustrating me, I cannot simply check if some route is actually on routing table.
If I use /ip route print MT simply show 300 routes.
When trying /ip route find dst-address 193.88.22.32/27 i got nothing
Any help?
TIA

Chart or graph with packet loss

Could someone help me with a problem. Not mine only I suppose.

I'd like to graph using Dude a packet loss from some MikroTik to IP somewhere.
I'd appreciate any help. BTW I know I can do that with cacti.

Re: How Dude knows which link is full (red) ?

A link becomes red when it's capacity becomes saturated. So for example a 10Mbit link will become red once it's traffic nears 10Mbit. Thanks for answer, continuing: link capacity is taken from snmp. My red link is a tagged vlan. Why vlan's have there 10Mbit? Is it a Mikrotik limit? We have there ar...

Tagged Vlan's speed

We've tagged vlan interfaces on MT.
SNMP reporting it's speed as 10MBit/s. Does Mikrotik's vlan's supports only 10MBit/s rate ?
BTW Dude presents vlan's links with higher traffic than snmp says in red colour.
Cheers.

How Dude knows which link is full (red) ?

I thought that it becomes red when queues connected with interface linked, becomes red (queueing packets). But It's not true. Any ideas?
