Re: Switch Rule

No, the MAC is only for the PPPoE server. Unless you want to limit MAC access for PPPoE users, you have no reason to do that. /interface ethernet switch rule add switch=switch1 ports=S+1,S+2 mac-protocol=pppoe-discovery add switch=switch1 ports=S+1 mac-protocol=pppoe dst-mac-address=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:X...

Re: ipv6 6PE ?

I also assume that no one else is running at 5.2. I, for example, am running 6.45.9, and even so there is no support for 6PE, as far as I know. Fun Fact: Normis said that 6PE would be developed for the v6 beta. We are already in the v7 beta (and you know this beta took a long time to get out), and n...

Re: ipv6 6PE ?

Any news about 6PE implementation on Mikrotik?

Is this resource present in roadmap?

Re: Switch Rule

An improved version of the rules I posted above would be: /interface ethernet switch rule add switch=switch1 ports=S+1,S+2 mac-protocol=pppoe-discovery add switch=switch1 ports=S+1 mac-protocol=pppoe dst-mac-address=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX/FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF add switch=switch1 ports=S+2 mac-protocol=pppoe ...

Re: Switch Rule

Assuming that: the S+1 interface is the PPPoE server side; the S+2 interface is the PPPoE client side; that XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX is the MAC of the PPPoE server. /interface ethernet switch rule add switch=switch1 ports=S+1 mac-protocol=pppoe-discovery add switch=switch1 ports=S+1 mac-protocol=pppoe dst-...

Re: IPv6 Radius Accounting Not Working for PPPOE Clients (Delegated Prefix)

Hmmm, I Think people are mostly not interested in IPv6 Implementation or am i the only one who is so furious in implementing IPv6.... Well i cant understand!!! In Brazil we also have the legislation to keep the Logs of Delegated IPV6 Prefix & Remote IPv6 Prefix, and it is really frustrating the...

hAP-S ac²/lite would be most welcome.
PS.: But is important to have compatibility with GPON SFPs. Unlike RB4011.

Re: Is Mikrotik Wireless support a different department?

Just to strengthen the doubt. I use hAP mini as CPE. I have several "Release 1" and "Release 2" with version 6.40.9, no problem. Due to the factory version of the firmware, I had to start using a newer version. At 6.42.12, Wifi just didn't work. It was several disconnects for no ...

Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM as 10G core switch (no features needed but VLANs)

I use copper attaching cable. They are cheap and reliable. I've never had a problem with anyone.

But they only serve if they go to the same rack.

[Feature Request] Switch-cpu as a romon port and Comment for switch rules

Currently it is necessary to tag the switch-cpu to be able to add the VLAN interface on RoMON ports. If you use switch-cpu with PVID (or untagged), you can not have management via RoMON (even with "all" ports). The second request is to be able to add comments to Switch Rules. Some switches...

CRS317-1G-16S+RM is a great switch. I have 4 on the network running perfectly.

Just not a perfect switch, why does not do MPLS on the switch chip.

Go in Settings > Map > Label Refresh Interval

The shorter the time set, the greater the limit that the Dude avoids cutting the chart

I'm currently using 00:00:10 to graph 2gbps on interfaces

Help with Netinstall Configure Script

I am using the Netinstall Configure Script feature for the first time. I made a script and, using Netinstall 6.42.3, I applied through Configure Script , a script on a hAP mini 6.42.3. When I start hAP mini for the first time, the configuration of the script is there, complete and as I wanted. Howev...

...
The RB450Gx4 is an Ethernet router with five Gigabit Ethernet ports, a serial port, 512 MB NAND memory

NAND != RAM

The RB450Gx4 has 1GB RAM and 512MB NAND.

Re: Is a hAP S TC possible?

Hm ... :)
Well, HEX S is $10 more expensive than HEX. If there is hAP S ac2 in the future, and it's $10 more expensive than hAP ac2, I'll definitely buy it.

HAP ac2 S would solve my problem of providing 90Mbps+ to the end user.

Is a hAP S TC possible?

I was very excited when I saw the HEX S on the products page. That's why I thought the products that were to be released this year were limited to those announced in newsletter 82. If hEX S had a wireless card, I'd already be ordering several. But it does not. I've been researching whether the USB s...

WebFig Status page issue

I'm having a problem using WebFig on different HapMinis. I created a webfig skin that has the status page, and I can not use the same skin for different HapMini because the "find" result of the interface is different. For example: [admin@hAP mini 1] > :put [interface ethernet find] *2;*3;*...
