Re: Add emoji to the ssid name

Ok. I figured out :) You don't copy/paste code (U+1F637) to the generator BUT emoji itself (picture) 😷. Just select emoji at Browser column and copy/paste to generator. It's also written at the bottom "copy from the 'Browser' column" :)
Thank you all for help.

Example how to use: 1) Paste this input with emoji into generator https://r-1.ch/mikrotik-unicode-ssid-generator.php: I❤MikroTik 2) You will get this output: /interface wireless set [find name="wlan1"] ssid="\49\E2\9D\A4\4D\69\6B\72\6F\54\69\6B" 3) Paste this code into terminal ...

Re: LoRaWAN support

the LORA KIT is basically a regular wAP + Lora modem in the only slot. If you remove the Lora card, you will have a default wAP and you can use a 4G modem or anything else, because it's just a wAP. Thanks, this is what I though. So in order to build a Mikrotik LoRaWAN gateway with 4G WAN, I'd need ...

I'm also wondering: does the wAP LoRa8 kit includes both LoRa modem + a free pcie slot to put an LTE modem. So basically if you already have a wAP, you can just buy the Lora card and the Lora antenna separately.
I can see now. I was not paying attention. I thought that this is separate LoraWan project from Mikrotik.

Clearly says that the Lora modem is built in, this is why it's called a KIT.
Also, Lora does not need or even have SIM slot.
Thanks.
