The newer link we are using GPER's every 200 ft. And in the older link, built before me, they used switches to boost the signal along. Not pretty, but it works. Everything uses static IP's.

My problem may have been related to the long line POE in. Because sitting in my living room and using 10ft cables it all worked. I am going to be doing a few more of these remote Power supplies, I am sure I will find out with one of them. If I do I will post it.

Not sure why this is doing what it is doing, but if I reset it with NO configuration, and then configure it from there, they work. And this did not affect just the LHG, but it also affected other Routerboard based devices.

Well on the advice of Mikrotik I removed the jumpers from both sides of the GPeR and that worked. Also according to them, I have a wiring issue somewhere. Everything checks fine, but until spring, I can't go any further. Everything is working as it should.

DHCP Server on one router the Capsman and DHCP Client on the Caps should work. 1 quick thing if you are trying to use wireless radio on Capsman Server you need to allow 127.0.0.1

If I remember correctly, there was a vulnerability in ROS. There were two ways of dealing with it. Update it, or close port 8291. I may be wrong about that though. But I do remember the port being vulnerable, and there was an update. But this is something new. At least as far as a I can find out.

This is random. I h ave set the watchdog to reboot if it looses communication with one of the CPE's. Sometimes it is good for 12 hrs, others abut 1 hr.

It is actually fairly quiet. A few hughes net routers, a cannon printer, and the occasional samsung phone, but the noise level is around -105db. The real kicker is, that about 2 hours after posting this, it stopped doing it. Now I am really confused.

You have to upload the upgrade file to the Dude's file structure, into the Dude Data Files. Then you can click on one device or several and select upgrade and then the package you want to upgrade to. My problem is the upgrade of several of my devices do not work. It reboots but does not install.

Sorry for missing your response. It is disabled. In some cases it was the newest version of RouterOS, but it also was on some that was the version it shipped with, 6.42.7.

We have six mAP lite's and now 1 SXT 2 that for some reason the DHCP has gotten turned off. One of the mAP lites happened during a power outage, so I am not so worried about that, except we have had 6 other devices that it has happened to. Nothing shows up in the log other than an unscheduled reboot...

I am having the same issue, some with newer versions of ROS, wome with older. But all do the same thing, reboot and nothing updates. I have even tried Netinstall on some of them, and it does not even see the device.

AlainCasault, I just want to edit the layout not the GUI. There are things I want to see on certain pages, not what is there by default. But I wanted to be able to do it in a mass edit sort of way.

Did one better. Took device out of the system and put a new one in with the updated rules. We had set the admin account to read only, but I realize now that was probably a bad idea. It has been changed but is still only a read only account.
