It was a security feature of the switch protecting against "Blat Attack"

Good news - the switch is to blame, connected one of the problematic devices directly and it works.
Bad news - the new firmware didn't help and I didn't find any setting of the switch which could cause that.

The only device of that kind, that I have, is a Silverstone DC01 (a small NAS), hard coded 0-3.fedora.pool.ntp.org
On all the other I can manually set the NTP server(s)
I discovered another device, which doesn't work with the MT NTP server - a HPE tape library :-(

There is nothing special in the input chain.
Tomorrow I'll try my old RB532 acting only as a NTP server without any firewall, routing etc.
If the problems persists, then it's clearly device specific :-(

I was able to fix the problem by connecting the UPS through an USB hub.
It seems the problem is that the UPS is USB1.1. (I had the same problem with my USB1.1 weather station connecting to meteohub)
Now all seems to work but I have one additional question - why is there an exclamation mark on the UPS?

Today I tried to switch the SSTP VPN client to "Dial On Demand" but that acts strange and connects and disconnects in cca 1 second pace.
When I disable Dial On Demand the connection works normally.
No session timeout set, idle timeout set to 1 minute.
Tested on RB532 and RB2011UiAS.

I don't see how it would help? The ADSL reconnection is very fast and if it (netwatch) misses it, then there are no more unsuccessful pings (to count) until the next reconnection. Okay, new idea. If you know that the connection will drop every 24 hours, how about a script that runs at say 3am.. Have that script take down the VPN (Disable SSTP), Reset the ADSL, and clear all of the connections. If you preempt the ISP maybe that will help. So far I've used a workaround - I had...

I've googled a lot, also searched the forum and wiki.
The sad thing is, a lot of script examples I've found, don't work - probably some syntax changes in the latest ROS.
For now I'm using a workaround - I have set a session timeout in the PPP profile.

I think I can rule out the PSU, changed for another one and the issue is still happening.

I found out I can provoke the issue by doing something in Winbox - opening windows, etc, no changing of any configuration.

One more thing - I noticed when it happens, the WLAN interface is gone too.

There are still problems with interface graphs in ROS 6.4 on my RB533.

Graphs for LAN1 LAN2 and WAN interfaces survive a reboot, but graphs for WLAN, Bridge and VPN interfaces are lost :-(

I've tried 2 different power supplies, no (significant) voltage drop on load. I've also tried to connect the RB between two PC and made a 100% RB CPU load by file copying - the RB was stable, so I don't think it is a power supply problem. Seems not to be a bad Board, I have tried a second one with the same result :-( I have also tried the RB on a small LAN - 256k line, 6 users, no freeze till now. A bad config can cause freezes with higher loads? OK, I'll try to play with the config ... I've instaled RouterOS demo licence on a PC, lo...

RouterBOARD 133 freezes

I have a RouterBOARD 133 with RouterOS 2.9.42, configured as a transparent traffic shaper (on LAN, no Wifi), shaping a 10MB line, about 200 users, CPU load about 20% with some spikes up to 40%. The RB freezes every couple of minutes, I had to set the Watchdog to ping (to the gateway), then it reboot...
