Wireless connection issue: loop on the same AP

Hello, Since ros version 6.30, we got an issue with station connection algorithm. Let's say we got a station that scan 2 AP from ours: AP1: 00:21:A4:34:05:E4 AP2: 00:21:A4:34:17:55 Both AP got the same SSID and security profile. Re: How originate default route in VPNV4

Hi,
if you receive default route via another BGP instance on the router you will be able to distribute it by setting redistribute other bgp.

ISP -> R1 --- MPLS cloud --- R2

R1 got two BGP instance, one for the eBGP with ISP and the other for the iBGP / VPNv4.

Re: RB1000 (3.13, 3.17) no honouring (in/out)-bridge-port= ?

"in-interface" and "out-interface" are IP layer options - so in case "Traffic going through the router from ether1 to ether2 (bridge1)" it is bridged (MAC layer), not routed (IP layer), so these options will NEVER match If you look back at my config: ether1 -> Public p...

Re: RB1000 (3.13, 3.17) no honouring (in/out)-bridge-port= ?

I notice something strange that could be related to your problem. I don't know if it's normal but in that kind of setup: ether1 -> Public port ether2 -> Bridge1 port ether3 -> Bridge1 port Bridge1 -> LAN port Bridge firewall enabled Traffic going through the router from ether1 to ether2 (bridge1) wo...

Netrat, any news about your problem ? If I understand AP1 is 192.168.87.1 and AP2 is 192.168.87.2 The laptop was previously connected to AP2, both was "pinging". But laptop has roamed and now it is connected to AP1. AP1 is still pining but not AP2. It seems normal to me has AP2 don't know ...

Re: Nstreme test package

Uldis, will there be the possibility to do a mixed Nstream/Non Nstream Segment. At the moment we use Nstream only for Backhaul links. So when this new version is leaving test-state we want to switch to Nstream. But we cannot migrate all clients at once so for a limited time we need to run both mode...

Re: PCQ and memoru usage

You should analyse traffic to see how much packet per second (per IP if you really want to be sure) you've got. Then give a try with your PCQ and watch for the dropped parameter of the queue. If the dropped parameter si not zero then limit or max-limit is insuffisant. You must determinate which one ...

Re: PCQ and memoru usage

He use "may", so it mean that it could be 2 packets per sub-stream so you will have 1000 sub-stream. 50 is just the maximum number of packet per sub-stream. Example: PCQ on 4 differents dst-ip 192.168.1.10 : 50 packets 192.168.1.20: 50 packets 192.168.1.30: 50 packets 192.168.1.40: 50 pack...

Re: rb600 make reboot every day

not every board reboots, that's why your board runs fine. I must say that we are in a cold environnement, i don't know if this is a temperature issue, but the board is outdoor at -20 Celcius. I don't want to wait for summer to know if the board would reboot, can we get more detail about the reboot ...

RB532 + daughterboard and high power cards

If I use spec of the RB532 rev5 to calculate max consumption , I can put 3 Ubiquity SR2 cards + Ubiquity XR9 on a RB532 + RB502 Board. Am-I right ?

XR9 max. consumption: 1.1 A x 3.3 V = 3.63 W
3 x SR2 max. consumption: 1.1 A x 3.3 V = 10.89 W

Total max. consumption = 14.52 W

Thanks a lot ! You support team doing a great job ! Could be interesting to get a release tree in wiki or in docs, containing feature evolution in each branches ! I know your time is precious, but it could help developper as user, to find what package they need or not. Put it in the suggest box :D

Re: MT is routing traffic from Public interface to Private

Dear Invader, Rules in the input chain don't seem to have any effect. If I put in place rules into the forward chain, that stops it, but also kills my DNAT rules. just to help you find or simplify solution to your problem, please take a look at the following diagram: http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs...

Dear firewall users, According to the manual : http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/2.9/ip/flow.php Prerouting chain is perform before INPUT chain, so even if you Nat client address it doesn't matter; every packet reaching the INPUT chain is destinated to router himself. I have many router that NAT ...
