Re: v7.1beta5 [development] is released!

The RB751U-2HnD (discontinued) won't boot this 7.1b5 version in anyway. It would not surprise me at all when at some point in the v7 release process the support for some old devices with little memory and maybe uncommon chip will have to be dropped... This is an unusual device in that it has only 3...

Re: Request: iPhone USB tether 2021 "a Blackmagic Design Atem video mixer can do this on its own... but Mikrotik doesn't

Most of the Mikrotik devices come with a huge amount of free disk space Quite many recent Mikrotik devices (e.g. hAP ac2, hAP ac3, wAP ac, cAP ac, etc., not to mention low-end devices) have really tiny disk space with size of 16MB ... Re: 260GSP - Will it power Other Devices?

The RB260GSP is a passive poe device not 802.3 af/at compatible and will not generate 48v from a 11-30 volt input. Therefor we had the replace it with RB960GSP (Hex POE) which needs a seperate 48/57V powersupply to passthrough the af/at compatible voltages since it also cannot generate 48V/57V from ...

The reset information from the Mikrotik wiki Manual:Reset should be linked as a direct topic in the RouterOS Wiki Manual:TOC General>Basic section. It should not be something hidden in a subsection.

Without a proper reset procedure you might not even get to the basics if you lock yourself out.

I can confirm @ploquets behaviour about CCS326-24G-2S+RM having RX pauses with Flow control enabled on the SFP1 with 10GB 3M DAC cable to CRS328-24P-4S SFP1. Both running SWOS 2.10, the RX pauses on the CCS326 are the exact double amount of the TX pauses on the CRS328.

Some early testing of the CRS328-24P-4S+RM shows that rebooting/running SWOS (2.7) instead of RouterOS instantly wakes and continuously runs the FAN even without load(POE/normal devices). I have tried multiple (re)boots from / to RouterOS/SWOS ?
