Re: CRS109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN and D-Link DGS-1100-08P: 802.3af PoE doesn't work

Hello,
PoE in: Passive PoE
https://mikrotik.com/product/CRS109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN

In brochure there was written "802.3af/at compliant", that is a mistake, it simply support up to 57V on poe-in.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused .

As @Zacharias already mentioned - currently, for outdoor use, netPower 16P is your only option to use low and high voltage at the same time. For indoor you could use one of these: https://mikrotik.com/product/crs112_8p_4s_in (also needs 2 PSU, same as netPower 16P) https://mikrotik.com/product/crs32...

IDLE power consumption (only ether1 has an active link) on this device does not reach 3W, you may not be able to massively improve consumption.

Re: Netpower 16P max PoE out contradictory

Both inputs can be used simultaneously, therefore, per 8 ports you can have ~150W (24V & 57V PSU are used). As example, 4 ports with low voltage, 4 ports for high voltage (per 8 port group): 24 (V) x 2.8 (A) = 67.2W 57 (V) x 1.4 (A) = 79.8W If you will use 24(V) and 57 (V) PSU at the same time, ...

@mkx you are right, I misread @Urajmal question. As mentioned, we do offer RBGPOE. In case you are willing to power this device through injector, we do recommend to use at least 48V PSU. Up to ~1A is recommended on Ethernet cable and the longer will be the cable, the higher will be a voltage drop.
