Firewall Rule to allow device without port knocking?

I have a firewall setup with port knocking but would like to be able to allow specific devices to connect without doing a port knock. I was hopping to do a firewall rule based on src mac but everone gets the same src mac address so that wont work! Any advice on if this is possible? I assume everyone...

I will do some more googling. I tryed to get it to work but couldnt. I have it working on our routers as different subnets. When i tryed to do that on this it shows it is getting requests but not showing any answeres back. Do i need an ip address on both interface Eth1 and WLANA?

I tryed that but with that dont you have to have a different subnet? I want my wireless clients to use and have the same ip subnets as the ethernet clients on the other side of the Hotspot? 10.1.x.x/20 address. set cisco switches to full duplex and speed 100. also set mikrotik to full duplex and removed auto.

still have this issue anyone have any ideas?? would a routed wireless network be better than the bridged??

All my wireless is mikrotik and set to auto. the building routers are mikrotik too set to auto i will go and set them all to 100 FD than and see what happens. thanks for the reply!

It has the same chipset? are you going to try to load mikrotik on it? if you do do a bandwith test and see what you get threw the ethernet interface.

I did get a call back and i can get that board with an enbeded processor.

I am able to get 20 mbps with OSPF routing full duplex wireless! now my issue is the processor is at 100% so i think that is my limitation at this point.

I havent used the rb333. my setup has 2 wireless cards on each end so a total of 4. Two wireless links one that handles tx traffic and the other handles Rx traffic.

That sounds like the same link i have but i am using rb532 and i am getting 10 mb full duplex but my cpu load is at 100% during a bandwith test so i think you should get better with the 333 they are a faster cpu the routerboards that i have are the older 532 and running at 264 mhz. i do a bandwith test with a computer on each side of the wireless link. i am using 2 rb532. i also am trying to use ospf to do a full duplex link. i get 10 mbps. and the cpu load is at 100% so i was thinking that i need a board with a bigger cpu to handle the load. any advice?? the rb333 is still a 333 mhz processor. i am using this for a OSPF Full duplex setup. it is working but the cpu load is at 100% and i am getting around 20 mb connectin.

I have the OSPF Full duplex working!! The issue i am having is my CPU load gets to 100% when trying to do a bandwith test. i think i would get better speed if i can get the load down.(remove things that are running that dont need to be.)

When i try 5ghz turbo when i go under rates tabe it only gose up to 54 mbps and when it conects it shows 54 mbps how do you get even close to 108 mbps on that?

I am using the Bandwith test under tools. Signal Strength for one of my links is TX/RX -62/-55 Noise Floor -99. it says it is conected at 54 mbps but when i do a bandwith test i only get TX/RX Average of 6.1 MBPS/11.4 Mbps. shouldnt i get better bandwith? I have a 10 mile link and can only get 4.2 mbps TX and RX. i have tryed 5 ghz turbo and nothing changes. if you look at the Status of the netowk conection it says that it is conected at 24 mbps/36mbps
