CRS317 Stuck at ~1Gb/s [SOLVED]

Hello, we have a CRS317 connected via SFP+ fiber (Allnet / Ubiquity / Intel (server side)) and different Broadcom NICs. Iperf3 tests shows, that I can't get over 1Gb and so I asking for help. Maybe there is a configuration issue. The configuration looks like: # jan/26/2021 13:08:40 by RouterOS 6.47....

Re: Intel SFP+ support?

hi,
Thanks for posting that. I just purchased a CRS305-1G-4S+IN for the express purpose of connecting 3 machines with Intel X520 NICs, and I'm struggling to get a stable link. I guess I'll have to return the switch.
take a look on https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=...

[OS 6.43.12] 4x CRS317-1G-16S: MSTP problems between two (link up / down)

Hello, we have problems between two switches and MSTP. The interfaces between them goes up and down every few seconds and sw-core-lan-04 is isolated for round about 2 seconds. The sw-core-lan-03 shows than: root-bridge: yes Some base infos: 4 x CRS317-1G-16S All with RouterOS firmware 6.43.12 We use...

Re: Get VLAN list with SNMP from bridge interface

hi, thanks for the response, but that is a bit sad. We have HP / Lancom / Ubiquity / Fortigate and all of them works in the way, that Jdisc (a scan tool, which we uses as import source for I-DOIT CMDB) has no problems to get all important things ... but RouterOS brings me sometimes down, with SNMP r...

Get VLAN list with SNMP from bridge interface

hi, which OID is needed, to get the VLAN list and which port has which VLAN configured ? We need that information for our CMDB imports. On the terminal, I can see them: /interface bridge vlan> print brief Flags: X - disabled, D - dynamic # BRIDGE VLAN-IDS CURRENT-TAGGED CURRENT-UNTAGGED 0 trunk 101 ...

Re: Intel SFP+ support?

hi,

its not so easy ... leading or not. Ubiquitiy doesn't support Intel too. They work only with 1Gb .... Also a HP switch doesn't support all modules ... (only a few)

Re: Intel SFP+ support?

Hi Oliver, I had a longer conversation with Mikrotik support. They bought a bunch of Intel SFP modules: We ordered a bunch of them for us to fix this compatibility issue. We are not sure if we are going to be able to fix this so soon since we added compatibility to a different module and it seems th...

Re: CRS317-1G-16S: problem with SNMPv3 and check_nwc_health (Icinga/Nagios)

hi,

I've found a patch ... https://manuel.mausz.at/coding/patches/ ... tch?text=1 to make it possible to use that plugins .... I do not understand (https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=75191), why I have to do it only for the RouterOS ... but it works.

*partly SOLVED* CRS317-1G-16S: problem with SNMPv3 and libnet-snmp-perl

Hello, we use the check plugin https://github.com/lausser/check_nwc_health/ for all our network devices and SNMPv3. I can use snmpwalk with -v3, but not the plugin, it complains: check_nwc_health --protocol 3 --username monitoring --authpassword 'foo' --privpass 'bar' --privprotocol des --authprotoc...

Re: Intel SFP+ support? CRS317-1G-16S+RM

hi,

with the RouterOS 6.4x.x (? -> factory default) our Intel SFP+ FTLX8571D3BCVIT1 was working with 10Gb/s , but after an upgrade to the latest version (6.42), we have to disable the autoneg and get only 1Gb/s. Was there something removed or changed ?
