Re: WIFI 6 Roadmap

For a wISP, WiFi6 is the largest single improvement *ever* in wireless performance on single streams, then stacking 4x4 and 8x8 radio options with 2 way MU-MIMO..... Now stack on an extra Ghz in WiFi6E. Would love to see mikrotik lead the charge on this. Time to wake up. To use wifi6 8x8, 12x12 out...

NV2 is like tank SLOW but best vs heavy noise. I would not say that. Probably comparing perfect link (no noise, good signal) using NV2 and Nstreme - than NV2 is 10-20% faster, but my experience says, in many cases where we have even low noise (or distance like 10km) nstreme can be same or better. Re: 802.11n

I have seen a huge amount of posts on the forum relating to the "slagging off of N mode" But has anyone actually got any useful experiences of using 80211n in an Urbanistic type environment, eg AP's mounted on street lights down a narrow street, where N might benefit from reflections, Rat...

But I can see big differences with and without.
More bandwidth, more stability... just like a 802.11a link.
RB411AH has 100mbit fdx ethernet..... how possible >180 mbit/s in UDP ????

I use L7 but why MT off good fast way to mark this traffic ?
No remove from winbox, console and no changelog, hidden surprise :/

Block probably the best p2p network emule/cad ? No comment in Poland emule is basic Internet service.

Ok i make it but tomorrow I first test new RB 333 on only NAT for only one PC. Try NAT 8/8 mbit traffic i think same result NAT is not easy for PPC CPU.

I m winbox user but in terminal I try this:

ip firewall nat add action=masquerade out-interface=netinterface chain=srcnat

Show CPU use, packet per second & connections for me: CPU 90-99%, 1100/900 pps(MAX), 3000 connection its heavy for br333.

Routing, bridging is true but not in NAT. Pentium III 500 is many time faster make NAT than RB 333.

1100/900 pps max no virus no heavy p2p.
When simulate virus or heavy torrent traffic RB 333 making NAT worse than D-link 10$ router.

Improve nat performance on RB 333

When CPU use 95-99% - DNS cache on MT lag or not work, latency not good. When disable quee 8/8 mbit symmetric traffic kill RB333, in BRIDGE MODE 80/80 mbit possible http://www.vpx.pl/up/20071203/288372c78dba45c7da902971f82865b9f7862150257.jpg http://www.vpx.pl/up/20071203/288434e17f2a258effb8ae350f8...
