Re: RouterOS v7.0 beta1 - when?

Guys, what are you arguing about? Everyone of us knows the v7 release date. Really. Just a mathematics. We are at 6.44 now. Each release requires 3-4 months. So.... 700 - 644 = 56 release cycles. 56 * 4 / 12 = 18,(6) years. So, the year 2037 will be year of 7.00 release! P.S. Don't thank my estimat...

Ofer, It doesn’t matter if you have IPv6 package or not because it is pure layer 2 transmission (like broadcast). Re: WAP ac 5GHz issues with iPhone XS

Ofer,

If you have only one AP and the firewall is processing bridged packets then blocking ICMPv6 should do the job.
I thought about dropping all IPv6 packets from the Nest across all my routers, I don't use IPv6 anyway and I removed that package from all the routers.

This discussion is all about connectivity issues on new Apple CPEs like iPhone XS or 2018 iPad Pro. I plan to make some changes to the firewall to drop all ipv6 communication from the Nes...

autossh rely mainly on a ssh trust between two systems for passwordless login and will initiate the ssh connection whenever it is not up you can also configure the tunnel to "push" the local ssh port to a remote location or "push" a remote ssh port that the computer can reach to a remote server e.g....

Best way would be to close all the ports from the outside then use autossh to tunnel the ssh port from behind the router to a remote location so you would actually have access to a system behind the router through ssh and then tunnel the Winbox port remotely this way nothing remains open. it can als...
