Re: 5000 + Simple Queues

Thanks dtaht

I think I am going to try Mikrotik with an X86 Xeon setup and if that does not work I will definitely try LibreQoE.

I already use Preseem for my wireless clients but this will be for my Fibre clients so it needs to be a cost-effective solution

Re: p2p-addresslist

Hi I have done something similar to that , just used add to src-address-list... I add all my clients that use p2p to the list and shape high udp/tcp ports with queue tree and pcq queues . Also have marked all know traffic that uses high ports and passthrough off action=add-src-to-address-list addres...

Re: R5H problems

Power was off on the routerboard
card was inserted
Pigtail and antenna put on
Put Power back on the router

Card worked great for 2 to 5mins
Changed frequency
Card stop working
Card settings @ default

This is a pity , i had great faith in the R5H but will go back to using XR5

Hi

Not sure if this is possible but would like to know if i had a script that telnet into port 25 and it did not come back with a response i could then execute a command / ip firewall nat set [find comment=redirect_port25] disabled=no
