Re: Graceful restart

Dear Mikrotik,

I would also appreciate a response on this. Where is the promised graceful restart in ROSv7 ? We really need it for OSPF

Re: ROSv7 BGP -- session is stopped, never comes back automatically

Sometimes nothing else but removing and adding the BGP connection will work. It is unbelievable and completely unacceptable that such bugs are still present in version 7.6 !! Also "Prefix Count" always showing as 0 in the Session display, and the inability to discard prefixes in incoming f...

Re: /ip/route/check command disappeared?

I would also like to add my voice for adding back ip route check. Its disappearance is really an unfortunate regression. What you have shown in your examples is exactly what routing/route/print does. I'm sure he meant "ip route get" under Linux: ip route get get a single route this command...

netPower 16P powering, cable attachments with tie-wraps

netPower 16P seems to be a nice device. It would be even nicer if you could power it only with 48-57V and it would generate 48V and 24V for radios etc, which is the common case. It is a hassle to bring separate 24V and 48V lines up high on a tower or install voltage converter. The DC jacks seem to b...

Re: forget about OpenVPN give us WIREGUARD

really ? we're running OSPF routing protocol over wireguard on ubiquiti edgerouters and low-cost x86 systems with vyos (Open source router and firewall platform) just fine, thank you! Wake up man, you can't run any proper routing protocols on wireguard due to its awkward design, so there is literall...

forget about OpenVPN give us WIREGUARD

Wow ! RouterOS 7 now supports UDP OpenVPN. After so many years, what a miracle !

Joking aside, this is so ridiculous. Stop wasting your time on OpenVPN and give us proper modern WireGuard before the next century, please !

Re: ikev2 multiple client dhcp pool

could we get the ability to choose mode-config through a new radius attribute please ?

also are these ipsec eap-radius attributes properly documented anywhere ? https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:RADIUS_Client doesn't even mention ipsec.

differentiating IPSEC EAP roadwarrior clients

We have routeros configured as IPSEC VPN server with eap-radius authentification (using freeradius 3.0 on linux). Multiple roadwarrior clients are connecting from dynamic IPs with different usernames. We need a way to differentiate those clients to apply specific firewall and routing policies to eac...

Re: v6.45beta [testing] is released!

Had CHR 6.45beta42 and now beta45 running under ESXi VM as VPN gateway ipsec IKEv2 EAP username auth (via freeradius 3.0 on Debian Buster) with Let's Encrypt Signed certificate + fullchain. Works with road warrior iOS, MacOS, and Windows 10 (where due to buggy VPN control panel it was necessary to a...

Re: v6.44beta [testing] is released!

Hi Installed 6.44beta61, but it seems there are issues with "/ip ipsec identity my-id" matching for fqdn:, user-fqdn: and even address:ipv4 types. It doesn't seem to work with Remote ID on iOS devices with IKEv2 in pre-shared-key mode. I was only able to get it to work by specifying the ro...
