Re: Problem with DHCP server on RB4011

Does DHCP assign IPs if they are not staticaly set on RB4011?

What about if you set static IP on those remote Mikrotiks, and use the free range IP, instead of DHCP range?

Re: wireguard site2site with one RB behind NAT

Great topic!

I wonder if it is possible to run Mikrotik behind another (Draytek NAT). Mikrotik ETH1 has an IP of 192.168.0.210, where all interfaces are as bridge. Is it possible to create a connection to such a device, or it is better that Mikrotik has its own subnet?

Re: pptp vpn client cannot connect

Did find a solution. In most cases the Windows 10 firewall is somehow blocking the connections, if the connection on other devices works.

Re: Redirect specific Website traffic to WAN2

Well I believe this can be accomplished fairly easily via IP routes. After the two standard IP routes are created..... 1. Ensure WAN1 has a shorter distance so that will always be the preferred routing for all LAN traffic in general. 2. To force specific traffic to WAN2, a. create another/second IP...

Redirect specific Website traffic to WAN2

The situatuion is: I have to configure a mikrotik device with 2 WANs - On the WAN1 (eth1), there is a PPPoe connection with static IP, on WAN2 (eth2) there is an DHCP requested IP (client). My mission is that computers t...

Re: RB4011 powered via POE

Hi all!

That I do not open new thread, what PoE adapter will be suitable to power RB4011? It says it needs 23W constant and it could take up to 44W.

Thank you all!

Re: Apple devices won't connect

I have tried 3 things, however I am not a ble to resolve which did work. 1. Increase the DHCP Lease time, I did it to 24 hours 2. Don't use default Security profile. Create a new one, and address it in every wireless interface! 3. My iPhone and iPad were on version 13. something, when I updated it t...

Re: Powering a two device with hAP ac

Thank you!

I decided to go with powered hAP ac with power jack and to PoE adapter 0.8A 24V to power SXT + SXT LTE Kit.

I will try and report if this works! ;)

Thank you

Powering a two device with hAP ac

As the title says, I would like to power two SXTs with PoE ETH5 port on hAP ac. I will connect ETH5 on hAP ac directly to SXT LTE Kit, and then in line from PoE out on SXT LTE Kit to SXT2. The power adapter which powers hAP ac is original 24V 1.2A. Will this adapter power all three devices? Addition...
