simple and tree queues

currently i'm having some queue trees, but i'm having difficulties with their report, since i can't do graphing for each queue in queue trees (i've tryin to do it with cacti, but some cacti script files for graphing MT queue trees is missing). in simple queue, we can do graphing for each queue we wa...

Re: packet marking on mangle

Probably better it would be to mark any packets (there is no sence with packet-mark=!icmp), in my opinion it is better to leave src-address or even without it for second rule (if there are not any other networks). so you wanna said that packet-mark=!icmp would probably fail? or not 100% success? ap...

Re: about point to multipoint

Basically yes, but it depends on other configuration options in RouterOS. A Hub or a Switch is usually a pretty dumb device passing packets between ports. Higher end models will allow Layer 2 or 3 management. If you set RouterOS options as default all users on the AP will be able to see one another...

Re: Shaping Problems

Hrz - Well, what you describe doesn't sound quite like it can happen the way you have put things in..... That being said - you must have put new rules in during the month period or changed some of the rules during that time - perhaps you have some dynamic rules being added? Basically mangle works o...

Shaping Problems

Hi there... Currently i'm using MT box on a Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz with 768Mb Dual Channel DDR RAM. The MT Box is used for bridging between my clients and my uplink network, therefore i can setup a bandwidth shaper(limiter). I'm using PCQ method as same as http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/PCQ_Examples descr...
