As for stability, in 7.6 I had two situations where I found all devices disconnected from the wireless router. I don't know the reason for the disconnection. @anav - Essentially all the newer ARM based based MikroTik products are only dual chain 2x2. Exception is the Audience device -- you can re-configure it to use the other 5Ghz card which has 4x5ghz.

Re: RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT - Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-AC-IW

On the Mikrotik console I set the PoE Out to "Auto On" and also on "Forced On", but still nothing on the Unifi. I'm starting to wonder if this would not be a PoE incompatibility problem between the hAP ac and the unifi ? Is it supposed to work or do I need to by an additional Po...

Do you use CAPs Man Forwarding or Local Forward?

Re: wAP AC as CAP managed by CAPsMAN ?

After another day of investigation, I did not find a way, how to do it. I got another wAP, put it to other CAPsMAN controlled installation - the same problem... Could it be some HW issue? Is there anyone who has the wAPG-5HacT2HnD sucesfully runing in CAP mode? Or what model do you use to cover out...

Re: Will this equipment work? [Choosing the right Hardware]

I have no personal experience with using those APs but they should be OK for that kind of performance. The RB952 is a combined router, switch and AP with good overall performance. As you don't need a router there you could also consider a separate small switch and another cAP AC. Or use a HAP AC2.....

Re: wAP LTE experience

I used one WAP LTE with a third party panel antenna (9 dbi for LTE800, around 14 dbi for 1800-2600) for last year. The 2dbi integrated antenna is too weak.
Now i changed it with a LHG LTE and i see an huge improvement (i live in countryside and the bts are far and behind woods).

Re: Large Apartment, no Ethernet

Have you considered Powerline?
PWR-LINE e PWR-Line AP can use the eletric grid to expand your wifi. Or you can wait for Mikrotik access point with mesh (Audience) announced last March ( viewtopic.php?t=146191 ).

How did you remove ethernet interface from router? Physically? Then I doubt if you can connect to your router :-) Do you have more eth interfaces? What router it is? Configuration? Re: New Setup: HAP AC or HAP AC2, plus CAP AC

So all in all, which would you prefer, the HAP AC or AC2 for a home (concrete house) scenario? HAP AC2 (better cpu for CAPSMAN) plus some wired connected WAP AC . I'm using HAP AC2 with three WAP AC (triple chain with outdoor case) in my house. CAPSMAN roaming works well for me. I have 10-15 device...

Re: Question About LHG LTE Kit

The router is equipped witha Category 4 modem for speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s but have one Ethernet port 10/100. The question is, if the lte modem can get 150 Mbit/s how can i use them if ethernet port is 100 Mbit/s? Simply you can't. You are limited at 100 MBit/s... This is not a problem, a 150Mbit...

Thanks for the info, but Unlimited Red+ seems to be smartphone only, and I have no luck to find any info on 3Unlimited. For Italian law, you can use the GB of any mobile plan as you want. You can use sim for smartphone for tethering and modem without problems. https://www.ilsole24ore.com/art/tecnol...
