Re: R52 vs R52H temp rating

I would also like to know what the R52H resistance to static is, as the R52 had very poor performance in static environments?

Re: netwatch pro question

Hi Equis Yes , that would be a good solution if his problem, and mine, was only to monitor a link or service. The problem goes wider than that, for example if you execute scripts on the local MT doing the netwatch. One don't want the MT to execute commands everytime a ping times out. It would be gre...

Re: SR2 re-associate problem

I'm having that exact same issue when the town and surrounding area's power goes down and then back on. It's that sudden, all at once reconnection or authentication of the wireless clients that must cause this. Only if there is more like say 15 Prism based clients on a AP. My symptoms further is as ...

Can this be part of the problem?

4 Filling Up the Access Point Association and Authentication Buffers Many access points do not implement any protection against these buffers being overflowed and will crash after an excessive amount of connections are established or authentication requests sent. This applies to software access poin...

Re: SR2 re-associate problem

Hi Gene

Will your software read a "sniffer" packet capture file from Router OS as well? I know Wireshark can read such a file.

Best regards

Re: SR2 re-associate problem

I have stated previously that I have had the same problem on Mikrotik V2.8.28 on a Wrapboard as well. When this problem started, (my client base grew) I first thought it was the Wrapboard, so I changed to a RB532 and Mikrtoik V2.9.(various versions) and problem still exists.

Re: Compex WLM54G23 support

Hi GWISA The prism card is a real "staatmaker" (dependable) in my opinion. No static discharge issues, no many senao clients on AP disassociation issues, best signal levels, good interference resistance, etc etc. I cannot understand why Mikrotik do not want to support them anymore and why ...

Re: Compex WLM54G23 support

Hi there

I see they have added support for the WLM54AG23 card, the dual band card.

I also use a wlm54G23, but only in station mode for a while now with very good results and signal levels

Re: SR2 re-associate problem

Hi everyone I've read through all the post's on this thread to see if I can find a common factor or more. I think I have the same kind of problem on my AP with an Atheros chipset, SR2. Someone mentioned it only occurs on AP with more than 15 clients on the interface, mine has 30, so with that I conc...
