Re: UDP SIP INVITEs fragmenting through EoIP

I found the Issue - the INVITEs some yealink phones create are always larger than their set MTU, for example with MTU set to 1500, my invites are 1652 bytes, since it sends all the enabled audio/video codecs there, making the packets way too big. With the additional limit of 1450 MTU in the OpenStac...

Re: UDP SIP INVITEs fragmenting through EoIP

It's on auto and it's showing connections, so it should be on according to the docs.

Re: UDP SIP INVITEs fragmenting through EoIP

Thanks, I changed the tunnel from EoIP to BCP, however the problem still exists. What I don't understand: no matter where I capture the packets (directly on the phone, on the local router or the remote router) they always show as fragmented - does this mean the packets are already fragmenting ON the...

UDP SIP INVITEs fragmenting through EoIP

Hi, we have the following setup: Yealink phones set to 1500 MTU at the local office, connecting to remote 3CX phone system via UDP over EoIP + IPsec tunnel Hardware MikroTik router at the local office, default of 1500 MTU on all physical interfaces running an EoIP + IPsec tunnel with 1500 MTU Virtua...

Re: EoIP with IPsec

I did set the public IP that does the DNAT, does it require the routers local IP?

EoIP with IPsec

Hi, I've just tried setting up an EoIP (+ IPsec) tunnel between our office and our datacenter network using a hardware and a virtual mikrotik router. I'm trying to do this since our 3CX PBX is hosted there and we are trying to avoid NAT, so a direct layer 2 tunnel seems to be the way to go. The offi...

Re: Can't access webfig on WAN

Okay.. it seems to be something caused by OpenStacks network routing, it works perfectly fine on a proxmox cluster :? Weirdly enough I only have this problem with RouterOS, all "normal" Linux distros work without any issues. Derp.. MTU was on 1500 by default, but according to the tech team MTU of 14...

Re: Can't access webfig on WAN

I think I've figured it out , it's just missing a route for the / path of the URL, if I add /webfig it seems to be working, but only on HTTP (extremely slowly and missing 90% of the ressources), on HTTPS I'm getting a timeout, could the 1mbit default license be just TOO slow? That might also be the ...

Re: Can't access webfig on WAN

I deployed the "Cloud Hosted Router" 6.43 Stable version yesterday via the VMDK on OpenStack, maybe that version doesn't have those defaults?

Winbox also didn't work for me, it get's stuck on "Downloading descriptors..."
I'll try deploying a different disk format and see if that behaves differently.

Re: Can't access webfig on WAN

I didn't set up any NAT rules and also couldn't find any default rules, however I read somewhere that there should at least be some default firewall filter rules, which I also can't see (with /ip firwall filter print ), only the ones I created. Changing the port also didn't help. Here's an export of...

Can't access webfig on WAN

I managed to get access to SSH using /ip firewall filter add action=accept chain=input comment="default configuration" \ connection-state=established,related add action=accept chain=input c...
