Re: CLOUD CORE ROUTER

Which problems still remain in core routers using 6.1 rOS version? Which features are optimized to the multicore architecture and which ones uses only one CPU (speaking about processes or features that can eat completely one CPU, while the other CPUs still idle)? Reboot, login/winbox, CPU usage prob...

Re: PPPoE and DHCP relay

Thanks for answering AlexN. Your idea is good, but not what I need. What i need, is centrally manage dhcp in main router (the one that is on the top of them all), not individual dhcp servers in each router from bottom. I know it can be done without pppoe, but I need to do with pppoe and dhcp relay (...

Re: PPPoE and DHCP relay

You need dynamic addresses assigning via pppoe connection or you need that your users have addresses assigned via dhcp besides pppoe?
Thanks for reply.

Re: PPPoE and DHCP relay

This manual page may be useful for you http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP/DHCP_Relay
I can imagine ... but as?

I find no way to assign a relay to a PPPoE server.

PPPoE and DHCP relay

Hi!

I have a network like the illustration:

Need to create a DHCP server with a unique pool of IP address on the router and use DHCP relay on PPPoE servers to give IP to customers.

Is that possible?

problem in trying to use dhcp options

I need to give a autoconfiguration file to a modem via TFTP. This works perfectly from the ISC-DHCP I use daily, but now I want have the option to do so in a RB1200. In this way it works perfectly with ISC-DHCP: # modem host test_modem { hardware ethernet 00:50:c2:31:21:74; fixed-address 172.31.1.5;...
