Re: v5.5 bug: after ssh-keys password login via ssh is blocked

This "feature" does not really make sense.

At least webfig works with the password.

The workaround is to have an ssh user with keys set, and another ssh user with a password and no keys to be used with ssh.
.. Weird ...

Re: DHCP clients don't activate over VPN

The workaround suggested by @doneware fixed the problem we had. Thank you very very much! I own you many beers! ...

The key difference is to assign ip addresses in '/ip addresses' configuration, and we left the local and remote address parts empty. I have full working control of the device.

Re: DHCP clients don't activate over VPN

While working with devices assigned with static IP addresses, it came to my attention that TCP/UDP communication is problematic towards the remote end of the vpn tunnel. I have a hardware device that communicates with a software on a couple of TCP and UDP ports. If the vpn bridge gets reset, the dev...

PPP-BCP Bridge IP addressing [solved] DHCP clients don't activate over VPN

Dear Forum, ... I have successfully set up a SITE-TO-SITE Layer2 VPN with L2TP/IPsec tunnel and BCP bridging with two Mikrotik routers. Works with static IP addresses. ... After setting up a DHCP server on the primary router, clients connected to the primary router get IP Addresses, but clients on t...

S+85DLC03D - package loss.

Dear Mikrotik, ... While using the S+85DLC03D SFP Modules, we observed some cases of connections, where we have/had an unexpected high package loss, between 30 and 60%. The problem appears relative frequently. ... .. unfortunately, we could not narrow down the problem either to a specific type of co...

CRS326-24G-2S+ with S+85DLC03D - incompatibility?

Dear Mikrotik, ... It seems to me that the S+85DLC03D SFP module can not build up a link while plugged into a CRS326-24G-2S+ - The CRS326-24G-2S+ detects the SFP module. - Replacing the SFP module to a Digitus SFP module can build up a link just fine. - Tried with CRS326-24G-2S+ SwOS 1.7 and upgrade...

Re: wAP LTE kit, LAN connection

Finallly found the problem. My bad. I was testing the network connection on two notebooks. Both of these laptops we used previously to set up CAPSMAN based AP's and the setup process required connecting to those devices with a static IP, therefore there was a 192.168.88.11 static IP set on the wired...

[solved] wAP LTE kit, LAN connection

Dear Mikrotik, We have a new wAP LTE kit. https://mikrotik.com/product/wap_lte_kit As stated there "The wAP LTE also has one 10/100 Ethernet LAN port for your wired devices." .. so far so good. Re: CAPsMAN provisioning - what am I missing?

Provisioning seems to be really bugged.

I have the same issue. I have already disabled my primary rule, but whatever i do, I still get that rule and ONLY that rule and the wrong provisioning, nothing else.

Another bug I guess.

Re: CAPs client mode set with the reset button, gets forgotten after reboot

The workaround is to open the terminal, and while the AP is in temporary CAP mode, the terminal will list the configuration and asks to press r to remove or any key to keep and confirm the configuration.

This seems to apply to RouterOS 6.43.4

Thank you.
