Outbound load balancing with ECMP and not Not

I have 2 DSL connections to the same ISP that connect to the same LNS. The MK is doing the PPPOE connections ( modems are bridged). I am using ECMP to try and balance the outbound load( doesn't work) between the two PPPOE connections and OSPF to load balance the incoming connects ( works) I am not u...

Re: Weird btest results

I have the same issue on two of my PC based routers. One runs around 5% CPU other around 30% CPU. So its not a CPU issue. One is running version 3.30 and the other 4.4 so it's not version. I have also seen the same issue on my 750G At first I thought it must be dropping packets or the interface must...

Nice, if we can to have a "save config" command, like cisco routers. All changes in the configuration, will be erased when the router reboot, but the changes can to be permanent if a "save config" command is executed before. Is a well know problem, to lost the remote control (wi...

You mean that those from 192.168.2.0/24 are still required to authenticate? Did you put this rule to "ip hotspot walled-garden" or to "ip hotspot walled-garden ip"? I put then to "ip hotspot walled-garden" , and it works on the test router, but not on the production ro...

In 2.9 hotspot is working completely differently. either "/ip hotspot ip-binding" or "ip hotspot walled-garden ip" is your friend, I suppose. There is a manual for the new hotspot if you want some weekend reading. Looking at the manual, /ip hotspot ip-binding seems to be aim at ...

Best way to bypass the hotspot

I have to class C's 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x I want 192.168.1.x to alway use the hotspot to authenticate, but I want 192.168.2.x to be router thru the hotspot without the need to authenicate. I see from the posts that in to 2.8 you create a mangle rule to mark the packets, then a firewall rule Is...
