Working Scripts - removing shared users on multiple hotspots

Gday, I grew tired of seeing multiple users sharing their login details with friends who connect to a different hotspot and be permitted access. We were loosing money and word was spreading rapidly that this cheat worked...So I devised this 3 part method. 1. A script is run on usermanager that scans...

Thanks for the reply,

That is looking like my only solution at the moment. Would be a shame to go backwards from my current setup which works very well (apart from shared logins).

Howdy, I have several RB532 based hotspots linked back to a single usermanager. A suggestion... You need to establish that your router is accepting https connections. The easiest way to do this is to enable resource graphing then visit https://(your_userman_dns_name)/graphs . If you see the graphs then the router is accepting the https connection...if you get an error, then you...

Re: User Manager Feature request - sticky please?

It would be very handy to be able to apply rate limits to users that signed up by the automatic signup page.

An option in "customers -> signup options" to apply the rate limit to each user as they signed up would be ideal.
