download the stable version for your mikrotik from the mikrotik website and then open winbox select files and drag and drop the new version in files . Reboot the mikrotik router and it will be upgraded.

I am not sure but I think you should know what kind of traffic you want to send through ether 1(vpn) and ether 2 and then mark you traffic and route them accordingly

I would recommend try to ping the ip of the printer you want to add to the network if you can ping it then all you need to do is add that printer into system from control panel but if you cannot ping it then just put some static routes that can be the only reason if you cannot ping that printer.

Appok I would recommend you use wireshark and inspect packets going to destination this will help you understand where the problem is?
Compare wireshark traffic on the sites which has problem and which does not has and you will have your problem narrowed down.

if I do not specify does scope or target scope the recursive is still going to work ? is not the scope and target scope that makes the route recursive?

Can you explain me that how that target scope and scope works well?if we have unmanaged switch between main mikrotik that is default gateway and the mikrotik that is going to have recursive route what should I put for the scope or target scope and why those values matters?

Without radius etc, one way would be to change the remote address on their secret - i.e. have an 'internal' / 'suspended' pool thats not a public IP that they get, then in your mikrotik have mangle rules for any traffic from that range to be redirected to your server where the HTML page is. I do not think that is the problem the mikrotik is not able to observe that isp1 interface is down I think that is the problem but do not know the solution

We have /24 4 subnets from isp1 and we are just getting one ip from the isp2 so as far I know I can use isp1 /24 subnets with the new isp2 also because we paid for it am I right or it does not work that way?

I fully agree with CZFan - hard to guess without config. Could be anything, but my personal bet is on misconfigured /ip firewall filter or /ip firewall nat (either packet is not being forwarded at all or it does not get SRCNATted so gateway does not know where to send it back) This should be actual...

just to let you know guys I had shared my wifi with my ethernet and that was acting as isp connection and it was giving ip with dhcp. I was trying to route pppoe but even without pppoe still mikrotik 2 cannot ping default gateway of router 1 that has isp connection

Thanks anumark but I have my clients on pppoe and the interfaces on which they are connected is acting as pppoe server for them and they all are on public ip addresses so if I put all those ip addresses on the ospf network too will it work?I am attaching a topology diagram for that .I would apprecia...

Hi Ape,
I also have pppoe server running on each routers interfaces except the ether 1 is it gonna effect that pppoe and do i have to add those pppoe(public ips) to the networks for ospf too?
