Custom Mikotik Device

Dear All This is not a problem but a request to get Mikrotik to design a device for us if at all possible. We know this will require huge volume, well, we might be able to meet the terms and condition or perhaps it could be a good enough device to enter Mikrotik road map that can be produced for all...

Re: Mikrotik Intercell LTE APs

You didn't answer to my question: by would WISP want to run LTE on 5GHz instead of running WiFi on same 5GHz. What is that makes LTE more feasible technology than WiFi? RF performance is not prime candidate as both technologies use same radio techniques (OFDM, TDD). Keeping in mind that CPE device ...

Re: Mikrotik Intercell LTE APs

... thus I think Mikrotik needs to invest also on the 5ghz small cell (LTE-U and/or LAA) for eNB with standalone EPC and ODU. What would be the benefit of running LTE on 5GHz as opposed to WiFi on same 5GHz band? Most MNOs are after clean spectrum chunks as only interference-free spectrum can assur...

Re: February Newsletter #87

@uldis. I don't know why I don't get notification on responses I should have replied this earlier. Yes, you'll get a lot of request on this band (B42) because,it is arguably one of the lowest cost LTE band globally with quite a number of regulators in most countries opening it up for license now. Ho...

Re: Mikrotik Intercell LTE APs

B42/B43 support would be really great for us in Canada. The Mikrotik CPE options look very nice, it's hard to find good CPE options in this band. The built in EPC would also be great, since EPCs can get very expensive. Another useful feature would be layer 2 bridging between the base station and CP...

Re: What ISP software are people using?

We deploy wireless and wired links but use MikroTik routers everywhere. Looking for an idea on what other people use to do bandwidth accounting for users, set speed profiles, provide reports/billing etc. We're currently using Splynx but hitting snags along the way, and their helpdesk is fairly lack...

Re: Help on User managment/hotspot for 3000 users

I have a network to deploy postpaid billing and Bandwidth allocation to 3000 users over a LAN, what Mikrotik Hardware setup can i implement? I would be most grateful for the help. This might not be relevant or too late for you or if at all valid again, but perhaps it might help someone else in simi...

Re: Future of LTE products, user feedback requested

We would like to know our customer wishes and use cases on what kind of future LTE technology would be interested in? 1. Which LTE Category you are interested in most - CAT6, CAT7, CAT9, CAT11, CAT12, CAT16 or some other? 2. Which LTE bands and which Carrier Aggregation combinations should be suppo...
