Re: v6.47.3 [stable] is released!

So... I pulled out the 'backup' ethernet cable from RB4011, so only SFP+ was connected to the uplink switch (both ports part of a bridge with RSTP), and rebooted it... So far so good, even after another reboot and reconnecting the ethernet cable back. Note to self - never upgrade ROS unless you are ...

Re: v6.47.3 [stable] is released!

Fun fact... It seems upgrading my RB4011 from 6.47.2 to 6.47.3 broke my network somehow... either a spanning tree issue or something else, as I have a loop on a remote system.. can get to the first hop, but the switch behind isn't accessible, and there's quite a lot of traffic...

Re: v6.46.5 [stable] is released!

Upgraded one of my rb4011 6.46.4 to 6.46.5 using winbox 3.22 on my win10 - even though misaligned and missing text is a minor issue it still triggers my ocd.

Re: SwOS version 2.11 released!

I have two CSS326-24G-2S+ with 2.10... I'm unable to upgrade them to 2.11. Tried updating it using "Download & Upgrade" button on "Upgrade" tab, manually providing swos-css326-2.11.bin, rebooting both devices... It just stays on 2.10.

Re: v6.45.2 [stable] is released!

I’m one of those couple of 200e+ customers... just pull the damn release as you’re probably doing a lot more harm for mikrotik’s name letting it as is. I crashed two rb4011 and it’s a good thing I had a backup ethernet link to that couple of switches... or it would cost me time and money to physical...

Running CHR as CAPsMAN on KVM - virtio, e1000 bug

I've noticed that there might be a bug in virtio vNIC support in CHR 6.44.3 (and probably other versions as well). I've been able to replicate the issue as I deployed a test CHR in Centos 7 (QEMU emulator version 2.12.0 (qemu-kvm-ev-2.12.0-18.el7_6.3.1)) with CAPsMAN, and RB951-2n's wlan1 as CAP. In...

Re: RB4011

Fun fact... According to https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MikroTik ... lity_table S+DA0001/S+DA0003 aren't supported but... Just tested S+DA0001 (SFP+DAC1M) with a Zyxel XGS 2210 the other side and using autoneg off, 10g fdx, and it seems to work (link up, data flow ok)

Re: RB4011

So... got RB4011 (wifi edition) couple of days ago... It replaced my hapAC as well :) I just love it has encryption offloading (cpu usage stays under 10% pretty much no matter what - even wen using aes256-sha512). I am however missing USB port, LCD would be nice although not mandatory... And... Is i...
