Re: SNMP ISSUE ON V7.6 & 7.7

hello,

I've noticed the same problem on equipment I use.

I have models of 1072 and 1036 in the environment and after upgrading from RouterOS 6.x to 7.x, SNMP collections every 60 seconds simply break the graph.
Is this already fixed? Can't seem to find anything in recent changelogs.

tag-stacking problem , can't get my config to work

Hi there Mikrotik friends ;) I’m having issues to build a working config with the following network diagram. (see attached picture). Complexity of the situation relies on the fact that the tag stacking port (ether5) also is being used as a trunk port. I tried a lot to get it working…. By using multi...

Re: QinQ VLAN's Help needed [SOLVED]

In the configuration-to-be all ports will be added to a single bridge, with the protocol-mode set to none. No other bridges, no tagless or untagged (except for the stacked ones) will be accepted onto the switch. I am probably safe when all connections are managed and connected by myself :) By the wa...

Re: QinQ VLAN's Help needed [SOLVED]

Your suggestion turning off RSTP works... see image! Allthough I'm very excited to implement this on the network, on the other hand I am a little scared for broadcast storms as you suggested. Is there a way to verify / monitor this? And if this is the case, how to prevent it? afterrstp-none.png Oh a...

Re: QinQ VLAN's Help needed [SOLVED]

To get a workaround I bought 2 additional CRS317's (I needed them anyway) I built the following setup: Untitled.png The upper CRS is configured using the following config: /interface bridge add ingress-filtering=yes name=bridge vlan-filtering=yes /interface ethernet set [ find default-name=ether1 ] ...

Re: QinQ VLAN's Help needed [SOLVED]

Sindy, that's exactly what I was already thinking. 1st of all I will start by making all my traffic towards and from our customers tagged. We'll see if that will work out. Thanks!

Re: QinQ VLAN's Help needed [SOLVED]

The main reason I didnt use pvid 309 on the endports is the fact we have untagged traffic that needs both an inner and outer vlan tag. Is there a way to double tag them? Or do you suggest to always tag all traffic on the Customers side?

Re: QinQ VLAN's Help needed [SOLVED]

Also on advice of MT support I decided to go with CVID tag stacking instead of c-vlan within s-vlan. I build following config: /interface bridge add ingress-filtering=yes name=bridge vlan-filtering=yes /interface vlan add interface=sfp-sfpplus1 name=vlan-gs-ser vlan-id=309 add interface=bridge name=...

Re: QinQ VLAN's Help needed [SOLVED]

Hi there, I'm looking for a qinad solution aswell. Currently I'm running 2 x CRS317 with a metro vlan provider in between them. There are several vlans on both sides that require to be connected by the s-vlan together. I'm running the vlan aware bridge configuration on both CRS'es. Some of the vlans...

Currently without the svid im running vlan aware bridge configuration with ether type 0x8100. I thought I needed a second bridge for that, but I cant add ether4 to both bridges. You got a suggestion maybe?

crs3xx fdb timeout

How to set the fdb timeout on a CRS3xx system? A mac learned in a QinQ vlan persists for about 5 minutes, which suck when implementing VRRP :)
Thanks in advance.

Ping loss after VRRP-ip swap from backup to master

Im running a simple VRRP-test setup with two routers (ccr1036) with two switches (crs317) in between them to distribute vlans across the network. For some reason when swapping the VRRP-ip from ccr-1 to ccr-2 all goes well, but .... back from ccr-2 to ccr-1 takes a long delay (several minutes) before...

packet received on bridge with own mac address

Hi there, I installed 2x CRS317 as a distribution / coreswitch in 2 datacentres with a vlan in between them do redistribute traffic between the locations. The CRS at datacentre A works flawless without any errors, but at datacentre B I'm receiving the following log lines: 08:53:41 interface, warning ...
