Re: Overruns on CSS326-24G-2S+RM

Try mention above on 317:
Boot RouterOS on it, upgrade it to latest version. upgrade system firmware too. Boot SwOS and upgrade it to latest version. Remove TX/RX flow control on all switches.

Re: Severe port flapping on CRS328-24P-4S+ and CRS317-1G-16S+

Switch to SwOS Use it with no flapping ok, you can also buy another vendor switch, but I don't think that it was the question... Hey Mikrotik guys, where are you? Very funny - for you MikroTik = RouterOS ??!? Guy ask for solution, I gave to him one - it's not universal, but if he need basic switch ...

Upgrade to RouterOS to last version
Update firmware to last version System->Routerboard->Upgrade
Reboot
Switch to SwOS
Upgrade to last version
Use it with no flapping

I just answered on those that ask "did you manage to resolve this problem".
Everybody, of course, has own needs and requirements on same hardware - MikroTik must work hard to fix this.
p.s. forums like this one is the place to be, before buy some equipment.

Re: Severe port flapping on CRS328-24P-4S+ and CRS317-1G-16S+

I posted several times above: This problem persists only on CRS317 running RouterOS (any version). If you don’t want port flapping at all, use SwOS 2.7 or 2.10 (don’t even try 2.8, 2.9). We have many 317 in different configurations with heavy traffic, hundreds of vlans, many of them connected with 1...

It's very normal to have issues on copper port, because of potential difference generated by two sides of the cable. On twisted pair technology this must be no problem at all, but very often it is indeed. On the other hand optic ports have no such problem at all and power related problems are just f...

Same hardware - different behavior = simply software bug!

Lot of tx/rx overruns on 10G port (SFP+ to CRS317) or pauses when flow control is enabled.
