Re: Routing Subnets not published by my router

Hello, I have the following topology, described in this picture http://ibb.co/Xzbp95S The BGP router that publish the networks is property of the provider not my own, And I have several servers in each Subnet, those subnets are mine. Normally all the traffic between my networks goes through their r...

Re: Which route will the router choose (ospf or bgp)

This is because the AD (Administrative distance) which is called "Distance" in Router OS is lower in the BGP route so it over rules the OSPF routes . The administrative distances is per default set in stone by the RFC. Like a static router has an AD of 1 And a directly connected has an AD...

Re: 2xMT with full BGP tables in failover - How To Do it

Re: OSPF MTU adjustement

Hi, I have a question abuout automatic MTU adjustement in OSPF protocol implementation. I have two routers - one is Cisco ASR9k - IOS-XR, second is mikrotik RouterOS 6.44.5. I found an issue with MTU and network types in OSPF. When I use broadcast network type and default MTU of 1500 bytes, everyth...

Re: New IP cloud is coming.

You think there is any chance in the future to support multi-wan setups? One option is to prepend or append the interface number to the dyndns hostname? pppoe-out1 = xxxxx-1.sn.mynetname.net pppoe-out2 = xxxxx-2.sn.mynetname.net This! We need to be able to monitor backup connections that have dynam...

Re: v6.45.1 [stable] is released!

What does exactly mean: !) user - removed insecure password storage; ? It is already written in the head of the release notes! In older RouterOS versions before 6.43 the passwords were stored in plaintext. In the 6.43 version they were changed to hashes but the plaintext version remained so you cou...

Re: Feature requests

It would be great if dhcp-server has an option to set a queue limit to each lease, and remove when the guest got out, automatically.. or RouterOs already does that?
