Re: access to SSTP-Client Uptime

Turns out there is a workaround. It really depends on your case though. I want to replace SSTP with L2TP and want to make sure, that the L2TP-Connection is working and then disable the SSTP-Connection. If you answer the following questions with yes, this workaround should work for you: - You want to...

Re: access to SSTP-Client Uptime

For anyone looking this up in the future. It seems, that this does not work when running scripts via "import file" via API-command.

Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have a solution to this?

Re: v6.46 [stable] is released!

After Upgrading to v6.46 some of our CaptivePortals do not open anymore. Previously after connecting to the WIFI your Phone would open a captiveportal when using the hotspot feature. This isnt true anymore for some devices. Instead the phone will connect to the wifi and bypass the captiveportal proc...

Re: LLDP only works partially

Are you sure that all your MAC-addresses are unique? I.e. you never took the shortcut of configuring an AP by loading a backup made on another AP, or otherwise set the same MAC e.g. in virtual AP. (same MAC on ether and VLAN is of course not a problem) All our devices are configured with the same ....

LLDP only works partially

We manage multiple mikrotik hotspots (router + accesspoint) and use LLDP to discover connected mikrotik accesspoints connected to the hotspot router. Generally speaking this works good for +1000 Hotspots. Scenario (Router OS v6.46): 1x MikroTik CHR as SSTP. 1x MikroTik hEX PoE (is connected to Mikro...

Re: Connecting SSTP Client and SSTP Server on MT

I simplified it even more. I now have a hEX PoE, where i created two bridges: - SOFTETHER with ip 172.16.1.1/16 and DHCP-Server for 172.16.0.0/16 with GW 172.16.1.1 - MT-CHR with ip 172.17.1.1/16 and DHCP-Server for 172.17.0.0/16 with GW 172.17.1.1 I then added - ether4 to SOFTETHER bridge as port -...

Re: Connecting SSTP Client and SSTP Server on MT

Your MT-DEVICE with IP of 172.17.1.x doesn't know where the 172.16.0.0/16 network is. The MT-DEVICES need a route that says to forward 172.16.0.0/24 to <SSTP-CLIENT-NAME> Your SE-DEVICE with IP of 172.16.1.1 doesn't know where the 172.17.0.0/16 is. The SE-DEVICE needs a route to send 172.17 packets...

Re: Connecting SSTP Client and SSTP Server on MT

Your post leaves many unanswered questions, so I'm making a lot of assumptions. I'll start with the basics, and that this is mostly a guess. To summarize: Your SSTP clients in 172.17.0.0/16 connect to MT-CHR (internal IP: 172.17.1.1/16). Then MT-CHR (external SSTP IP: 172.16.16.236) connects as an ...

Connecting SSTP Client and SSTP Server on MT

Hello, first time writer, long time reader. In Short: I would like to ROUTE two networks "172.17.0.0/16" and "172.16.0.0/16", so that i can reach 172.16.0.0/16 and his clients from 172.17.0.0/16 and wise versa. 172.17.1.1 (Network: 172.17.0.0/16) MT-CHR Network 172.17.0.0/16 with DHCP-Server on "man...
