Re: hEX (RB750Gr3) Serial Console

So you need a gadget which provides serial port over USB. You can plug another such gadget to your computer and use serial cable to connect the DB-9 ports of both gadgets. OK, so just to make sure I understand you, I need a cable/adapter which provides USB to Serial Port which I connect to the Rout...

Re: hEX (RB750Gr3) Serial Console

So only way is to use usb to serial converter and after it appears in Ports, enable Console on it.
Why a USB to Serial Converter? My PC has a USB port and the Routerboard has a USB Port. So is a Serial Converter really necessary? Why not using a USB to USB cable?

hEX (RB750Gr3) Serial Console

Hi,

how can I enable a Serial Console on my hEX (RB 750G r3). Since it doesn't have a serial port is it possible via the USB port? I found this Reddit post but was not revealing.

Re: IPv6 DHCP Server Not Leasing IP

Thank you for the information. This thing got me almost insain. I was really wondering what the heck I was doing wrong.

So that means you can create a DHCPv6 Server and Bindings and Pool and so on, but it's not working at all yet? So the UI is here but no functions behind implemented?

Re: IPv6 DHCP Server Not Leasing IP

Should this work now in RouterOS v6.44.3? It's not working for me. I get an /48 range from Hurrican Electric ipv6 Tunnel. Everything works, but not the DHCP Server. I have set the address advertise=yes. But the firewall shows in the logs that there is no other traffic than ICMP. No DHCP traffic or a...

PPTP Interface not listed in Webfig

Hello, I don't know where to put this topic. Where can I report issues/bug? However, the PPTP interface I created via Webfig will not be listed in the Webfig Interfaces list ( Interfaces > Interface ). When I use /interface print via SSH the PPTP interface will be listed. And on all drop-down Webfig...

Re: Multiple VLANs with one Router as Default Gateway in each VLAN

I have got one modem (from my ISP) in bridge mode which is my gateway to the Internet. This is connected to Port 1 on the hEX. I also have two swiches and one Mikrotik hEX. Let's call the switches Switch A and Switch B. Switch A is connected to hEX on Port 2 and Switch B is connected to Port 3. hEX ...

Multiple VLANs with one Router as Default Gateway in each VLAN

Hi, I have a basic understanding how VLANs work. I have some problems to set up my hEX correctly. I'm running a Mikrotik hEX (MT7621) with RouterOS 6.44.2. How can I put the hEX as a default gateway into multiple VLANs? For example, I have two VLANs. VLAN 10 and VLAN 11. VLAN 10 uses 192.168.10.0/24...
