Hi. I have several of Wireless Wire Dish PTP links in my town. I like these devices very much. One of the links has its signal strength and MCS (on both sides) chaging dynamically with time. Signal strength sometime is 80, then drops to 50, then 60, and so on.., MCS sometimes drop from 8 to 5. What ...

How to make dual-WAN-load-balancing, with dynamic ISP addresses (and dynamic gateways)

I'm trying to make Dual-WAN (or multi-WAN) Load Balancing, for giving enhanced internet connection for my (natted) LAN. i've tried to follow many tutorials, such as this: this https://systemzone.net/mikrotik-ecmp-load-balancing-and-link-redundancy/ but all of those assumes that WAN (ISP) addresses a...

Is it safe to put two 60GHz Dishes together?

Hi. I have two Point-to-Point air links made with Wireless Wire Dish (W60G). Both links are in automatic frequency. These two links have a common node. And there are two dishes, each pointing to its respective couple. One is 500 meters far, and the other is 1000 meters far. Both have clean sight lin...

Re: How can I make a point to point subnet, and access the hosts inside it?

"then you need to either add static routes to both LANs to both wireless devices", that sounds like the right solution.

Many thanks mate. :)

How can I make a point to point subnet, and access the hosts inside it?

I was taught in school, that routers can be coupled with point to point links as stated in RFC3021, with a /31 subnet, as follows: http://i65.tinypic.com/2cesznp.jpg I'm building a private network, composed of various nodes, linked with air point-to-point links. those links are made with the Wireles...

Re: Can't get a ping between two hosts in different networks on a same router

I disabled (windows10) firewall on host2 and it started to reply the pings from host1. Enabled firewall again on host2, and it stopped reply the pings.

Therefore problem was the windows 10 firewall.

Many much thanks :) . You guys rule.
