CCR1072 - Packet loss with Queue enabled

Hi, I am experiencing an odd issue on a CCR1072 (6.45.8) where if a queue is enabled, the interface experiences about 5% packet loss consistently HOWEVER the queue is no where near capacity, and even when at unlimited the interface still experiences packet loss Has anyone seen this behaviour before?...

Re: CCR1072 and 1Gbe BASE-T Modules

I managed to find the fault, the module needs to be 10/100/1000 to work, mine was a static 1000, appears there is a hardware difference which prevents reprogramming these For anyone else the generic fs.com module works fine :) And yes.. had a huge argument with their support because they do not adve...

CCR1072 and 1Gbe BASE-T Modules

Hi All, We recently discovered that the onboard eth1 for the CCR1072 is unable to do basically anything, and is only usable for Winbox etc (would be nice of them to just label this interface as mgmt1 instead) However working around that we installed a FS.com module (https://www.fs.com/au/products/75...

Re: MacOS Catalina, iOS, Catalyst, SwiftUI & Wine

All I can say is thanks so much for compiling into 64bit! Is the 64bit version full featured and stable, or are we expecting any issues? PS. I turns out it is actually possible to run 32bit code in Catalina, just requires some nvram arguments and copying the 32bit libraries over, but this is much mo...

Re: Winbox 64bit Version

For some hope... Crossover is expecting an alpha release of Wine that will include the required 32bit thunking https://www.codeweavers.com/about/blogs/ken/2019/10/3/crossover-for-catalina-progress-october-3-2019 If you use CrossOver for macOS, this information is VERY IMPORTANT for you. Earlier toda...

Re: Metarouter on microSD, will it be ever supported ?

At this point how about an option to remove the almost useless feature? Everytime I see this option I get excited and then remember it useless with the pitiful amount of space on the devices that do support it :(

Re: [Feature Request] Winbox and netinstall 64 Bit versions - URGENT

I think we should all avoid getting caught up on how a rewrite could be made in some local side web app The request is for a recompile of winbox into 64bit If the recompile is not possilble, it would be fantastic for Mikrotik to take a leaf from their heritage (Linux) and open source atleast the det...

Re: Winbox 64bit Version

It's really so hard for your Mac to use a virtual machine running Windows XP and excecute Winbox? Also exists lite versions of Windows XP. I can't see the problem. Also you can try to run Windows XP 64 bit edition. Regards. Is it really so hard for MikroTik to reply and advise why such horrible sol...

Winbox 64bit Version

Not sure how many others are using Mac OS with Wine to run Winbox, however with Catalina (next Mac OS) around the corner with 32bit support removed, this puts me in a real bind A simple answer is run qemu/vmware to power winbox, however this drains significant resources for such a little program CLI...

PWR-LINE using USB Ethernet Adapter for Chromecast

Is it possible to use a USB ethernet adapter that delivers power to add a extra port to the hAP Lite? Has any one tried, or have a chromecast ethernet adapter they could try? Would love for a USB adapter that lets you plug into a PC and into the hAP that provides power to the hAP and connects to it ...

Re: First subnet of blackhole route not advertised in OSPF

Check the LSA entries for the routes that are being advertised so understand where they originate from. Summarised routes are announced to cover smaller ones so they may be originating from other routers in your network. The summarised route is coming from the same router as the more specific route...

First subnet of blackhole route not advertised in OSPF

Hi, I have a /22 blackhole route on my core router as a summary route, along with a bunch of smaller connected/static routes from the /22 My OSPF is setup to redistribute connected and static routes into the backbone area However I have noticed the first route (/24 connected) from the /22 is not adv...
