Obviously you can't be 100% sure with these things but on two routers within a few hours of upgrade suffered ethernet port flapping. Fixing the port speed from auto-negotiate seems to have solved it so far for a few days.

Re: v6.10 released

I wonder about these issues. I think it's related to people editing via the GUI. Whenever I do that I seem to trash the config somehow. I have to delete everything and enter via the command line (copy and paste my settings). This might explain how users are having issues when MikroTik is not. I act...

@spire2z I disagree, doesn't really make sense. It's as easy to spoof with a bind as with a proxy... so there's no security gained. @dundy: I haven't been using the ps4 much lately. Did pcq work dynamically as with the limit set? I'm never quite sure about that. The documentation seems to suggest it will do that without any limit set.

Re: Incompatibility with ps4?

I think you may find it's because the ps4 will not work when a DNS proxy is used. If you manually set a real DNS server like 8.8.8.8 then it will work. So go to custom setup. Use DHCP by all means but just set the DNS statically.

Very true about channel resource. This was on a 450g but I've had it happen on 433ah as well before. The IP of the hotspot is set as well as the dns name in the hotspot settings and also in the dns settings the entry is there. Hi, Yes occasionally the ip of dns name appears as 0.0.0.0 and we have to restart the hotspot to resolve? I'm using 3.30 at the mo. I can upgrade to 4x but am a little orried to do that now as its a live setup but if someone confirms for example its a fixed issue then I will upgrade.

Re: Routerboard RB411A Reboots Non Stop

I had this issue on a rb433ah and 1x xr5 and 2 x sr5. For me it was power consumption of the cards as lowering the TX power on the xr5 solved it for me.

Does the rb433ah have enough mini PCI power to supply those cards?

Also does anyone know a board that will take 4 of them?
