The access via winbox and none via the app is puzzling indeed. Neither an Android phone nor an Android tablet can access. The phone runs Avast mobile but nothing on the tablet while winbox on a laptop goes straight in.

Yes - therein lies the query - why not? Is there some special router setting required for mobile access as opposed to Windows?

Need some beginner's help here please. I can access my Haplite using Winbox from my laptop. When I run the 'Mikrotik Home' app it does not 'discover' the router. Also if I use the same Winbox access credentials given by my ISP I cannot connect to the router.
