Re: CAPsMAN Access Point Question

It is not clear if you are using your first router as an access point only or you are using it as a router as well. It makes a difference if you will be using more SSIDs and you want them to be in separate VLANs. The first router is currently being used as an access point. I would like the second r...

Re: Hard wire extender/coud router switch to increase wireless coverage

Sorry for the additional questions, but I am not too familiar with the New Terminal command codes. Additionally, are you able to specify which steps are intended for the original router updates and which steps are for the new router? Also, if you have screen shots of the configs, that would be great...

My current setup is as follows: I have one router that connects to my fiber modem and serves as my primary wireless access point (access point A) and a seco...

Re: Hard wire extender/coud router switch to increase wireless coverage

Would you mind being more specific with each step of the configuration process as described below?: "just configure it as AP bridging wireless with ethernet ... without routing/firewalling/nating) and configure it with identical security profile. Devices will then more or less seamlessly roam betwee...

Hard wire extender/coud router switch to increase wireless coverage

I have a Cloud Router Switch CRS125-24G-15-2HnD-IN connected to my ISP. It is currently acting as my wireless network at my home. Unfortunately, it is spotty in some areas. Would it be better to hard wire an extender (12-57 VDC) or hard wire another Cloud Router Switch to my main router in my attic?...

Had to get on-site support from an IT friend of mine, but finally got it to work. See Attached screenshot of NAT Rule-> IP/Firewall/NAT/Add New

Plex Media Server Remote Access - Port Forwarding

Hey guys, I am new to the forum. I recently installed a Mikrotik router in my home. Everything seems to be working great except the Remote Access feature on my Plex Media Server won't work any longer. I have literally spent hours trying to troubleshoot the issue. Apparently it is a Port Forwarding p...
