Re: CCR2216 Lockups

The inability to distribute MPLS traffic between different cores is a known problem for both ARM and ARM64 architectures.

You could try using a vlan interface on the interface facing the MPLS cloud. I have verified that this configuration makes the CCR2004 use 2 CPU cores instead of 1.

Re: MPLS/VPLS decapsulation locked to single CPU core on ARM/ARM64 (CCR2004, CCR2116)

I have observed this behavior for all types of MPLS traffic (both VPLS and VPNv4) on both ARM (RB1100AHx4) and ARM64 (CCR2004) devices. It is interesting to note that if the interface to the MPLS core is a VLAN interface, the incoming VPNv4 traffic is distributed between two CPU cores in the CCR2004...

Re: CCR2216 CPU UNBALANCED LOAD AFFECTING TRAFFIC

I haven't tested the CPU of the CCR2x16, but it seems to be a pretty interesting traffic value. As I wrote above, ROS does not seem to be able to distribute among different CPU cores the traffic coming from the MPLS core (labeled packets).

Mainly the non-availability of BGP attributes within a vrf. But the lack of a long-term version is another important reason.

How much traffic is going through the CCR2216 when the CPU reaches 100%? My experience with ROSv6 on ARM equipment (RB3011 and RB1100) used as MPLS PE (VPNv4) tells me that the approximate traffic that the equipment can handle is in the order of the test results for "25 ip filter" rules di...

I've seen such uneven CPU load distribution on ARM (RB3011, RB1100) and ARM64 (CCR2004) devices running MPLS on ROSv6.

Re: v7.1rc4 [development] is released!

Any specific improvements to MPLS or BGP?
MPLS deployment status for v7.1rc4 has not been updated at https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ ... col+Status.

Re: Layer-3 MPLS VPN

I have tried the recently released version 7.1rc1, but I still have problems receiving routes within a VRF. Has anyone been able to successfully test this functionality? Is there documentation on this topic for RouterOS v7?

Re: Ros 7.1Beta 6 route filter syntax

I ask you a question, do you know if Layer-3 MPLS VPN is fully functional in RouterOS 7.0.4? Or is it just another way of naming RouterOS 7.1beta6?

Re: v7.1beta6 [development] is released!

Hi, according to what some users have commented, V7.1beta7 already exists. When will it be available for download?

Re: Layer-3 MPLS VPN

The lab is made up of 3 mesh-connected routers. One of these routers acts as a VPNV4 route reflector. Client networks are connected on the other two routers. LDP is configured and there is output for the mpls/ldp/local-mapping and mpls/ldp/remote-mapping commands (there is no command in v7 to verify...

Re: Layer-3 MPLS VPN

I understand that it is available from release 7.1beta5:
!) enabled initial MPLS support (CLI only);
Also, the system shows MPLS label assignment.

Layer-3 MPLS VPN

Hello, I'm trying to establish an Layer-3 MPLS VPN. The configuration looks quite different from v6, but there is practically no documentation about it yet. I'm using a BGP route reflector in the network. Below is the configuration of interest /ip vrf add list=all name=VRF100 /routing bgp connection...

Re: RB1100AHx4 SNMP Strange Behavior

I have found that packet loss occurs particularly when the query is associated with system health related OIDs (.1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3....). Queries to other OIDs do not produce drops.

RB1100AHx4 SNMP Strange Behavior

Hi, I am seeing packet loss on the order of 1% when I start SNMP polling an RB1000 at a rate of 10 seconds. It can be seen that the rx-drops field begins to count packets. It seems important to point out that there is another process that performs SNMP polling to the same router at a rate of 30 seco...

Re: BGP Peer within VRF route advertisement

Thanks mrz, there is a way to obtain an output similar to the one obtained in Cisco with the following command:

"show ip bgp vpnv4 vrf VRF1 neighbors x.x.x.x advertised-routes"
Nobody knows if there is a way to obtain similar information that the Cisco command returns?

BGP Peer within VRF route advertisement

Hi there,

I would like to know if it is possible to obtain the prefixes advertised to a peer in an eBGP session within a VRF.

The output of the "/routing bgp advertisements print" command does not show anything for this kind of configuration.
