Re: Cert cannot be imported on IOS13

Probably ran into the same issue I did, in that IOS changed some behaviour.

I tried Step 1 and 2 and then tried to import that -crt file generated - still not possible :(

Cert cannot be imported on IOS13

Hi, I had a IKEv2 Roadwarrior setup running, but due to various reasons including change of IP. I had to start from scratch. I used the same guide as before but now my CA cert is not able to be imported on any IOS/MAC OS device. Every time I try to import - it says it is not able to import the certi...

Re: Trouble creating a VLAN bridge [SOLVED]

You have to add Trunk-bridge interface as tagged member of a VLAN in /interface bridge vlan if you want router's CPU to interact with said VLAN through vlan interface vlan30_trunk.
Thanks - that worked :)

Trouble creating a VLAN bridge [SOLVED]

Hi, I am trying to create a vlan bridge with trunk ports on my CCR-1009 but it seems it is not working. I want to have Combo1 and ether2 as trunk ports on my CCR. I have read a lot og posts and documentation but somehow something is not working - my laptops on the switch connected to the trunkports ...

Re: Trouble getting IPv6 prefix from ISP

If you get internet access with PPPOE, ipv6 dhcp-client interface should be PPPOE interface. Ipv6 address setting is also needed ,it will be addressed from the pool of your prefix requested by dhcp-client. /ipv6 address add address=::1 from-pool=v6-PD interface=bridge /ipv6 dhcp-client add interfac...

Trouble getting IPv6 prefix from ISP

Hi, I recently switched to a new ISP that supports IPv6, so I thought I would give it a go, they do however recognize there could be some issues getting IPv6 working on customers own router. They say I need SLAAC and DHCPv6 prefix delegation - which I think my CCR supports. I set up below Ipv6 confi...

Re: Wifi bandwith

Got it working again - turns out the solution was simple but sometimes the most obvious is difficult to see :)
It turned out to be an issue with the cable connecting to the WAP AC, sometimes it went down to 100 Mbps link, which is of course why the speed dropped ;)

So Mikrotik wifi is working again.

Re: Wifi bandwith

At what speed is the device connected (both upstream and downstream)? Differrence is that in the first scenario (download) the accesspoint is the sender and the device the receiver, in the latter its vice versa. Device is connected with minimum 700 Mbps in RX and TX. But now it seems we are back to...

Wifi bandwith

Hi, I have a short question regarding wifi bandwith on my CAP AC via Capsman. After it suddenly decided to stop at around 95 Mbit/s I rebooted the CAP AC. Then I retested with Iperf against a local server and the speed is up to around 250 Mbit/s on download - when testing upload I can get around 450...

Re: CAP AC disables 5G after some time

Your SSIDs are not there, but what does the log say about that? Certainly there is something... The log only says this : A8:BB:CF:11:11:11@5GTAN_GUEST_VPN-CAP-Stuen-1 disconnected, received disassoc: sending station leaving (8) But it seems that also happens at other times. Also when you cant see y...

CAP AC disables 5G after some time

Hi, I have a 1009 running CAPS-MAN controlling a CAP AC. I have provisioned some 2.4G networks and 5G networks. Everything works fine for some weeks, but suddenly I can then notice that all the 5G SSIDs are no longer there. By disabling CAPS-MAN and enabling it again, everything now works. So far I ...

Not getting full throughput wan to lan

Hi, I have a CCR1009 which is running as router on my 500/500 - when I test the speed I am only able to get maximum 400/500 at all tests I have done. If I test with my laptop directly on the modem I am able to get 500/500. The CCR is mostly idling around 3-4% CPU so I would not think the reduce in t...

Re: Trying to get started with CAP and Vlan

The setup goal is to have 1 or 2 CAP AC managed by Capsman on my CCR1009. They should mange different SSID's with Vlans. Currently the CCR1009 is connected to a switch and the CAP is on a trunk port - so is the CCR. I am almost there now I think, but somehow the CAPSMan doesn't "catch" the CAP even ...

Trying to get started with CAP and Vlan

Hi, After much testing and troubleshooting with CAP AC and VLAN and even CAPSman on my CCR, I decided to start from scratch and slowly build up my the CAP and see where it fails. Now I have the CAP running with Vlans on a trunk port - next step will be to connect it to the CAPSman. However I have a ...

Mikrotik App - Connection refused

Hi, I just godt a CRS1009-7 and got it up and running, which was surprisingly easy considering everything I heard about how difficult Mikrotik devices could be to set up. Now I installed the App on my iPhone and wanted to connect but i keep getting connection refused even though I am on wifi and the...
