Re: Feature Request: IPSEC Improvements

Why not?? That should be no problem! (of course assuming you can configure the other end to the same settings) No clue. I've tried countless times to run OSPF over GRE between MikroTik and pfSense. Ultimately the routers will form full adjacencies but the routes never gets installed in the routing ...

Re: RouterOS v7.0beta1 (ARM)

Are we going to get VTI support or at least a usable implementation of OpenVPN? I say usable because RouterOS sometimes ignores my explicit interface bindings and bring up dynamic OVPN interfaces. That would be all fine and dandy but I'm running OSPF with redundant WAN links. The horrible site to si...

If you want tunnel interface run ipsec in transport mode and ipip or gre over it.
GRE over IPsec transport doesn't work for the purpose of running OSPF with pfSense or Cisco on the other end.

OSPFv2 over GRE over IPsec transport results in no OSPF routes installed in routing table

Hi I am running a GRE tunnel (over IPsec transport) between a MikroTik RBSXTR and my core router (pfSense). The GRE tunnel works fine; both devices can ping each others directly connected interfaces. The interface metrics match on both ends and the two routers successfully forms an adjacency. I am i...

Filer rules not working as expected.

Hi. I'm somewhat new to RouterOS but this should be simple. I have a hotspot that I use for advertising. The hotspot subnet is 10.20.0.0/24. My AP is at 10.6.0.20/24. I want to block access to the LAN interface of my AP (10.6.0.20/24) from the hotspot network (10.20.0.0/24, interface WLAN2). Here ar...
