Re: @ Mikrotik will come out resolution for serious problems of CRS3xx and CSS3xx?

What RouterOS version are you running? What firmware version are you running? Have you submitted a ticket to Mikrotik support?

Re: Looking for short range 5 GHz AP for PC to VR streaming

This is all just based on my opinion, but recently I’ve noticed that MikroTik has published more fixes to the ARM processor than their other platforms. This suggests to me that their ARM products are stabilizing while their MIPSBE processors are considered more stable. Again this is just my opinion....

Re: Looking for short range 5 GHz AP for PC to VR streaming

Robbie0, That’s quite a workload. I might recommend the RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT as it’s got triple chain wireless and runs on a proven MIPSBE processor. I also might suggest the RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN as it will also be capable of your needs, just make sure you stay on top of upgrading the firmware on it.

Just how fast is NV2? Here's a chart.

I've really been wanting to answer the question how fast is NV2 compared to 802.11 advertised speeds? I've built a lab and tested this out with 1 AP and 2 clients. Client1 and the AP are on the 192.168.1.0/30 network, and Client2 and the AP are on the 192.168.2.0/30 network. I then setup a udp traff...

Re: Anyone can check the login webpage hotspot from attack codes!

loveman, I guess while this forum would not be the best place to ask for penetration testing for your hotspot app, I do think I have a solution. Some websites offer for you to post a job and let people bid on what they will do for you. Maybe "Fivrr" is the best site for your post. Hope this helps an...

Re: Wireless Bridge Issues

carlg, Thanks for posting and welcome to Mikrotik. I also find sometimes that the number of options is almost mind boggling, even for me. I haven't been that long of a user, but still I find some hangups with how to do things. I pulled out a spare device I have to post some commands and to help you ...

Re: Windows share between two routers

mnsra92, I'm not sure if you checked, but because it sounds like you're trying to connect across a routed network in your second scenario I believe that a firewall rule may be the issue. According to the Microsoft documentation for SMB and CIFS in an article titled "Service overview and network port...

Re: WIreless Network In Tunnel

I do not believe that there are enough wireless channels to operate 80 non-overlapping wireless channels. While using WDS may seem like a fine idea I wish to urge caution. Each wireless hop halves the effective throughput. Also, SXT devices do not have the ideal broadcast radiation pattern for this ...

Re: LHG range to normal router

neutronlaser, An LHG would let you receive very weak signals and also transmit at a very high gain. The answer to your question is that in reality it depends on a lot. Most importantly it depends on two devices being able to speak and hear at a good level. The router in a coffee shop speaks at a low...
