Re: CHR DHCP FIrewall bug?

It is expected behaviour - the DHCP server uses raw sockets which receive this traffic before it reaches the IP firewall
Understood.
Could you point me to a document (if exists) about this behavior on Mikrotik's website?

Big thanks!

Re: Severe port flapping on CRS328-24P-4S+ and CRS317-1G-16S+

... If you only need 10G go for the CRS317: it works well connected to anything but the CRS328 (and possibly the CRS326). Since the repair my CRS317 - CRS328 link has been rock solid too. That connection was the only one with flapping. It is now up since Dec 18 without any issues whatsoever. I am h...

Re: Severe port flapping on CRS328-24P-4S+ and CRS317-1G-16S+

Hello One of my partner gave me the link to that thread when I was looking for a 10G Mikrotik switch. I'm still interested in CRS317 switch. What I need is just the following things: * no crash * RouterOS as I need kind of integration with other things (at least via CLI) * no port flapping :) * VLAN...

Re: Removing Mikrotik elements from beacons

+1, I would like to see it as an option to disable to make any mikrotik wifi device as generic wifi device as possible.

Re: Seeing 3rd party Mikrotik's SW version

What you want is security through obscurity. This is a bad idea, giving you a false sense of added safety, which is not the case. Probing and exploiting a vulnerability is fast, and doesn't rely on those details to select a target. You should set up your network in such a way that it should not mat...

Re: v6.45.5 [stable] is released!

UPDATE: tried the following way https://blog.pessoft.com/2019/03/02/mikrotik-firmware-remote-upgrade-small-disk-device/ but it didn't work. Files have been uploaded using Files menu in the root folder. After restart nothing happened. Version remains the same. UPDATE2 (Problem SOLVED): dhcp package w...

Seeing 3rd party Mikrotik's SW version

Hello I have been trying WiFi Scan on hap lite for quite some time and today discovered one interesting thing. I'm able to see 3rd party mikrotik's details like this (screenshot attached). Couldn't find anything related to this in the documentation. I don't mind to see someone else's router details,...
