Re: 6.38.1 pppoe link up/down time wrong

Yes, it is a well known bug in winbox.
It appears it can sometimes be fixed by deleting the session (.viw) file but I have not observed that.

I would use policy based routing. You tag the flows with mangle and route on the tag. There is a use case on my network that I had to do this where a small segment of traffic does not flow over the OSPF best path. I agree, but so need to replicate mangle rules and route (mark) on each node. Edit/ad...

I wouldn't recommend BGP for this - it's not well-suited as an interior routing protocol. iBGP will keep the "next hop" intact by default, so you'd want to make sure that the pppoe servers were sending next-hop=self (I forget the exact option in Mikrotik, but you get the idea) You could make it wor...

I think dividing your pppoe servers into primary and backup roles is going to be the only option for you since you can't specify an OSPF metric in the routing filters. This is because if you look at the NanoStation2 its transmission rate at 6 Mbit, we see that the board shows that Mikrotik is receiving 24 Mbps. This can not be. There is an error...
