Re: Is it possible to limit bandwidth of a port within a briged?

apparently it is not possible to limit the bandwidth on an ether port that belongs to a briged. I don't see why it should not be, but as you haven't shown the complete setup, no one can tell what the real configuration mistake is. Thanks for replying, I add the exported configuration: # model = Rou...

Re: Is it possible to limit bandwidth of a port within a briged?

To make the queues handle L2 forwarding on a bridge, you must set use-ip-firewall to yes in /interface bridge settings . HW offload has to be disabled for that particular interface as well ... I had already marked ipsetthin, but the single queue on a port belonging to a briged does not work yet. it...

Is it possible to limit bandwidth of a port within a briged?

good morning, I am trying unsuccessfully to limit the bandwidth of an ethernet port through a simple queue, the problem that that port is part of the briged. Ether 1: wan Ether 2,3,4,5: Briged 1. Try to limit the bandwidth of port Ether 2 using a simple queue in target = Ether2. but it surely doesn'...

Re: Can't route between local Subnets. (One router). [SOLVED]

Elegant or not it's the easiest solution. The DNS based one isn't that far off. While there is a script here: https://github.com/Tolaris/mikrotik-dns-dhcp/blob/master/mikrotik-dns-dhcp.script (among others i've tested, this is the finest of them all) to aid in completing mikrotiks dns implementatio...

Re: Can't route between local Subnets. (One router). [SOLVED]

You don't need those two rules, they are not a solution but a workaround for you problem (if you have a problem at all). Try to disable firewall on your windows machines, as mkx suggests. Effectively, disable the windows firewall and I can now ping between subnets. But I still can't access a comput...

Re: Can't route between local Subnets. (One router). [SOLVED]

If that is the whole config, nothing is preventing clients in one subnet from access to the other. But I believe it's only a part of it, so maybe there's something in the part, that you didn't post. For example in firewall rules. As for seeing computers by the names in different subnet - you need a...
