Re: Mikrotik Router SIP Connection Blocked.

Has there been any progress with this? We are running RouterOS 5.7 and have had this problem since 3.30. Its not just NATing, we have the same issue with routing. We have SIP clients trying to connect to the SIP server over a VPN. However, if the SIP clients try to connect before the VPN is brought ...

Re: Probe Thread

Hey,

Yea, I thought about doing it that way. Not the most pretty way of doing it but it works.

It would be nice if there was a way to create a probe and for it to check the value based on the previous check.

Oh well, I'll do it that way for now.

Thanks

Re: Help on CPE Setting

Mikrotik CPE bridge ethernet to Mikrotik AP There are a few different ways of doing it. How I would recommend to do this: AP Setup Bridge -> Bridge Create a bridge interface * If you want your wireless traffic to go to your ethernet traffic on that tower add ether port to bridge (under Bridge -> Po...

Re: Help on CPE Setting

Hey, Couple of questions: Do you have Hotspot running on the AP? Are you able to post a copy of your config (open terminal -> type: export -> paste config) Is the CPE routing or Bridging to your computer/laptop? I have found when connection 2 Mikrotiks wirelessly, if either side is bridging to make ...

Re: Probe Thread

Hey, I'm trying to create a probe that monitors a function and considers it "down" if the value changes from the last probe. So if I'm monitoring Function "X" and it is replying with the number 2 then the next time the probe checks Function "X" and the number is 3 or 1 ...

The Dude 3.4 Bug?

Hey .. I'm running The Dude 3.4 monitoring close to about 150 devices. I've hit little bugs here & there, but as a whole a great product. Recently I've hit a strange issue. Whenever you right click a device -> tools -> Winbox - Winbox loads but all the information is 'cached' and it doesn't upda...

I agree .. I am not going to depend on some freemail service to deliver vital notifications. This is a must have feature.

Re: Switch Internet From ADSL with Mikr0Tik

When you create the PPP Connection the profile is suppose to change the MTU automatically. However I find sometimes it does this, and sometimes it doesn't. I've deployed over 200 of these routers to date, so I have seen this happen. I find the best way to make sure the MTU size is being changed corr...

Re: Switch Internet From ADSL with Mikr0Tik

Those are default Web Proxy's .. The issue is an MTU issue.

Click 'New Terminal' and paste this line:

ip firewall mangle add chain=forward action=change-mss new-mss=1454 tcp-flags=syn protocol=tcp

That should work.
