Re: Web proxy speed

You are right, im using the proxy for shairing internet to 3-4 clients. It is my choise proxy without cache. But, why i don't have the same speed...

Re: Web proxy speed

Double NAT or not is not the issue, I'm double-NATing with no significant decrease in speed. What hardware are you running on? Type/size of cache memory? I am running http proxy on RB600/ROS 3.14 with an 8GB Sandisk Compact Flash Extreme III. I have 7 users connected via wireless, and when I'm pull...

Re: Web proxy speed

OK it sounds like you are performing double nat. Double nat means that your Mikrotik is NAT'ing the traffic from your internal networks 10.x on to the 192.x network. Then your modem is NAT'ing onto the Internet. Hence two stages of NAT. Also, if the Mikrotik is dialing the ISP then you would HAVE t...

Re: Web proxy speed

My wireless network is at 10.x.x.x (MikroTik) and my local network (modem/router) is at 192.168.x.x Im not using BRIDGE m...

Re: scripit for telnet and execute commands

you have to use linux with ssh for that - set up non-interactive login using certificate. after that you can execute commands using ssh or create tcl scripts. Somewhere at the forum i saw few commands and i tried my script: /system telnet 192.168.0.1 :delay 10 :put "password" :delay 10 :put "restar...

Re: Disconnecting the users with bad signal [2.9.X]

Here's "enhanced" version (sorry for waiting so long):

How it works:
This means if minthreshold is 75 and maxthreshold is 90, the clients with signals between -70 and -90 will get blocked.
Are you sure ?
That means nobody can be connected!
