mPCIe socket in MikroTik KNOT (LoRa-less version)

Hello, I am thinking about purchasing a MT KNOT. Since I already have an R11e-LR8, I wonder whether the non-LoRa KNOT is user upgradeable (has an empty mPCIe slot). Thank you.

Help modding RB4011

Hello everyone. I know that MikroTik is a nice company, so, as a redditor suggested, I'm going to ask this in this official forum. Here goes nothing: I own a non-WiFi version of the RB4011. So far I am very happy with my router but I long for wireless connectivity and more storage for the upcoming &...

Re: RB4011 + Compex WLEV2-20 = issues

Hi! Does the card touch any components of the board? The original mPCIe socket is not so tall, so the board may short-circuit something. One more thing: do you have any link to the manufacturer's page? I can't find anything about that chip. EDIT: I found it, I got the very same card. Same thing. But...

Thank you @girts, your solution worked for me too. I tested it in a Raspberry Pi CM4. I just want to add that you can download a valid pre filled "global_conf.json" from TTN console. Just go to "gateways", click on your gateway, and then find this button: Captura de pantalla 202...

Re: hAP ac bricked?

FWIW, I have run into the same issue with a hAP lite: Netinstall would just run into the "Key was rejected" issue, and nothing would work. However, I have been able to find a way out of that corner using Linux netinstall version 6.47.9. I was able to reinstall my hAP lite with both ROS 6....

MT giveth and MT taketh away...
So right... we'll have to wait. Let's hope they implement it back along with interactive terminal in RC6.

Hello, this is my first experience with MikroTik's implementation for SMB, and I have a strange issue: I set up SMB share and account with write permissions, macOS connects, but then nothing shows up in Finder. If I try to create a folder, I get "error -43", and the folder does not appear ...

Transferring big files is causing kernel panic There is no exec to get a console in order to configure more. No problem with file transfers in ny case. I use ‘scp’ and webfig for uploading (RB4011, ARMv7 32 bit). Regarding the lack of interactive console shell, you have to settle for images with ss...

Same here. Plenty of sweet new functionalities in the development version (WireGuard, Docker), but we have to leave LoRa behind for now, or use an additional card for that. I've been like that for a year.

I also miss The Dude Server in the development version.
